This HD Glass + Shield is not a good fit for an iPhone 7/8 because the edges of the screen protector does not stick to the iPhone so you can see the edges that have not stuck to the phone. We have tried 2 of these screen protectors, but both have done the same.

I've trusted Zagg screen protectors for years; I've never had any issues. But this product definitely misses the mark. I had the Best Buy sales associate apply the shield to my new iPhone 8 to make sure it was done correctly. Unfortunately, there is an ever-so-slight 'lip' around the edge of the phone's screen, and this produces air pockets between the screen and this screen protector all around that edge. The air pockets were visible almost immediately after application, but the sales associate told me the screen protector should 'snug down' and eliminate the air pockets. It didn't. A very expensive flop.

I am having the exact same problem that many others have mentioned. I followed the directions exactly, and the edges of this screen protector WILL NOT SEAL properly on my iPhone 7. It's the "halo effect," as they call it. Looks so cheap!! Going to try to return it to the store for a refund and get something else.

It doesn't cover the edge of my iphone 7 and now it's collecting dust on the edge.

I have been buying these shields since we got our first iphone... a 4s. We’ve had them for 5, 5c, 6, 6s, SE and 7. We used to pay Best Buy to apply them but ZAGG has made them SO EASY that it’s not necessary anymore. I’ve had plenty of them chip or crack from drops while my screen stays intact. I’ve utilized the lifetime warranty. The only catch is you have to pay almost $8 shipping and handling. But still cheaper than a new $40 protector and better quality than the $5-$10 ones at big box stores. This latest one has a clip on tray on the front to make centering the protector as easy as can be. It’s a great new addition to the install kit. I only took one star off because my latest purchase was two shields that are not adhering properly. That’s never happened before. It’s not bubbles. The entire outside edge all the way around one is not adhering and part of it on the second. ZAGG customer support is sending me out a 100% free replacement for the one that is all the way around. I think it’s a great product. I won’t hesitate to continue to buy them in the future.

Completely dissatisfied! The Best Buy employee literally tried FIVE+ times to get the screen on! I was at Best Buy for over an HOUR waiting to have this applied, with my end result having raised edges around the phone.

The iPhone 8 is slightly curved at the edges and that is where the glass lifts away from he screen. If it were to have a stronger adhesive it might have corrected the problem.

The Invisible Shield products are outstanding. The lifetime warranty allows you to replace the screen protector when it gets damaged. I’ve done that a few times already for my other phones. And, the process is relatively easy. You pay for shipping, they send you a new one, and you send the old one back. The EZ apply tray (included) makes centering the protector much easier. And, the product is crystal clear. My only negative comment is that I wish the product covered the screen closer to the edges. Hope this helps.

Dropped my phone with this on it, the screen didn't crack but my entire phone did. Had to return it

This product was recommended by my Best Buy sales person. I have used Zagg screen protectors before with positive results so I thought I would give it a try. It applied easily and fits very well. It appears to give nice protection . . . hopefully I won't have to find out. I did drop my phone twice before I got a case and the screen survived damage free. Nice warranty also.

The Glass+ is superior protection, clarity, and smudge-resistance. The package includes a special “tool” (a plastic frame that sits on top of the phone screen during installation). It was simple, quick, and totally accurate. It also helped in clearly removing all air pockets.

Love the glass screen protector much better than the plastic. The instructions are easy to read and easy to apply. This will stand up to just about anything and feels smooth under your fingers. Easy to keep clean and looks good. Love my protector

Bought this product, applied it very easily, love it! I can’t believe I don’t leave fingerprints like the old screen protectors I usually use. My friend informed me that if I register it and anything happens to it, they will replace it for free! Within a few days I ended up reaching into my pocket looking for a credit card. I had longer fingernails at the time and ended up grabbing the edge of the screen protector thinking it was my card stuck to the front of my phone. I ended up peeling the corner of the screen protector up so it cracked it. I simply filled out the request for replacement online, paid the $5 shipping and received a brand new one. I even received a pre-paid return envelop for my damaged one. I deducted one star because the replacement I received seems a hair shy of the coverage I need to reach the edge of my screen.

Purchase this as a gift for a teenager’s new IPhone. I have this screen protector on my phone and it has been great. Great company great warranty I myself have taken a vantage of the warranty which is outstanding. After spending a lot of money on the phone I wanted Something to protect the screen -they are not inexpensive to replace. Protector looks great you hardly know but it’s on there. It is smooth and easy to clean. It was very easy to apply.

I highly recommend the glass protection shield for anyones iPhone because I had the plastic protection but after a while it began to peel on the sides. After I made the purchase I allowed the Best Buy representative to put the glass protection shield on for me. It is very smooth it protects the front of the phone I have access to all the ports nothing is Blocked it makes the phone feel like a new phone. The glass protection does not interfere with any of my iPhone cases and does not cause me to have to press harder for gestures. This is actually my second glass protection shield I also had one on my iPhone SE and love that one too.

The piece of glass fits the screen of my iphone 8 perfectly and I could not detect any defects. I had not watched one of these being installed before, so I paid the BB installation fee. The BB person took his time and did a very nice job. Now that I've watched someone install it I'm confident I could do it well. A tool to ensure exact placement is included. My son had one of these get shattered in a drop that impacted the screen but it saved his phone's screen - it did its job. All that being said, the price is quite high and it can be found for less elsewhere if you are able to install it yourself.

I'm a LONG time user of Zagg Invisible Shield (since I got my first smartphone like 7 years ago - I've had them for smartphones, my iPad, and my Fitbit), and I have talked countless people into investing in their products. By far, this is my absolute favorite Invisible Shield I have used! I bought it to replace the Invisible Shield Defense HDX (the plastic one with a dry application, vs the wet plastic application) that in 13 months have already replaced 2x. I'll be upgrading in the fall to the new iPhone, and didn't want to pay big money for a new screen protector, but this one was dirt cheap on sale, so I figured I'd give it a whirl. The clarity is amazing. There are no bubbles whatsoever. Unlike previous Invisible Shields, this one is actually case friendly (I have an Otterbox Symmetry case) and when I use the buttons on the side of my phone, it doesn't mess with the screen protector. I love how it feels (it feels more like you're not using a screen protector on your phone since it is glass) when I use my phone. I will totally be buying one for my new iPhone in the fall!!

Clear, great feel, and durable. Withstands key scratches, spills, and easy to maintain. A quick swipe with a lent free cloth and good as new.

I used this screen protector on my iPhone 6 and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. I dropped my phone and the glass screen protector cracked but my phone screen did not crack. I was also using a Tech 21 case and it also protected my phone. I registered my screen protector online with Zagg when I bought it and was able to get a free replacement. Zagg did charge me about $5 for shipping. It’s easy to put on with the tabs to help with placement and they give you everything you need to thoroughly clean the screen.
