If the protective cover gets a crack in it, (happens every few months for me), sign up on zagg website for free replacement and only have to pay around 8 bucks for shipping. Totally worth it!

It's transparent

I had the store person install it, so I can't comment on that except that it seemed easy enough. Sometimes when I tap on an icon, it doesn't open - I'm not sure if it's due to the shield or just the screen itself. Overall I'm happy with it.

I notice no reduction in touch performance and might even say the touch capabilities have improved. My screen feels smoother and my phone is better protected. I notice no weight or depth difference in my phone.
