Have had the case for about 2 weeks now and so far no complaints! I love that it has multiple layers that click together so it is fully encased, and initially I didn’t anticipate me using the kickstand at all but have found that I have used it almost every day!

With my new 17 Pro Max, I wanted a beefy case that would hold up to some abuse/drops. Usually, I'm an Otterbox guy but their cases just didn't cut it for me for some reason. I previously had the Defender XT series case but the camera button cutout they had was pretty poorly executed for a second year now. I came across this ZAGG case and it seemed like it checked all the boxes for my new case. The case is beefy as I mentioned. It's about the size of the Defender case from Otterbox so there is both heft and size to this case. But for those of you looking for that in a case, shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary. All the buttons are prominent and very tactile. The camera button cover also is nice as well. While it's not raised like I would've hoped, it works well enough and I don't have the issue where I'm accidentally pressing it like with a lot of other cases I've used. The power plug cover snaps into place nicely however I find that, every once in awhile, it's a bit stubborn to open up for whatever reason. Not a huge thing but just something I noticed. Case has a good texture to it. Not too rubbery and not too slick. Holds well in the hand and fits nice as beefy a case like this can. I don't use the kickstand that much but it's nice that it's there. And the Magsafe provides a strong hold to all my existing Magsafe holders/chargers too. Overall, very nice beefy case. I don't have any hesitation with this case not protecting it should I drop the phone. Has the usual features I wanted and it looks pretty good too.

I often drop my phone because I am always using it so I had to get a case that could protect it and the ZAGG rainier snap with kickstand not only does it protect it, it looks good doing it. The case arrived in a minimal box that gives you a preview of the case and it looks great, even better out the box and on the phone. It feels soft on the edges and I know it has sturdy edges to keep my phone safe. I like that it does have the ring on the back so I can freely charge my phone wirelessly. I often watch either reels or videos on my phone and having the kickstand has become very useful, I do not have to hold my phone to watch either, I can just leave my phone stand up or sideways to do so with the stand. One of the other things I like is that on the box it states that they have used up to 80 percent of recycled materials for this. The case fits perfectly too, the speakers are open and I can hear everything well, the microphone, cameras and buttons are easily accessible and I have no problems with it at all. Overall the case is useful, I can let my phone stand by itself upwards or sideways, I can charge it without taking the case, full control of my phone and best of all, it looks great.

Quality wise, I'm having no issues with this case. The kickstand is solidly made and the movement is stiff enough to feel solid. The sandstone color is right up my alley as it's pleasing on the eyes. It does come with a nice quick instruction set on the back of the insert of the phone. No issues there. The case is a bit bulky but that's the type of case I was looking for with the ability to use a kickstand to watch shows or YouTube. The material used on the sides and around the back of the camera is a hard plastics or sorts and some of the edges are sharp. That being said, it isn't too sharp and I got used to it quick. The sides do create a grippy texture that is nice to have. I would have liked to see it a tab bit grippier but def not a deal breaker for me. Overall, this is a great case that offers incredible protections due to its solider sides and two piece construction. The kickstand is wonderful and does exactly what its made to do. I enjoy the color and feel at ease when carry my phone with this case on.

I drop my phone way too often, so I need a case to keep my phone looking like new. I have been using the Zagg Rainier phone case for about a week to protect my iPhone 17 Pro Max and here is my experience. I thought the case was very well built, but was a little heavy at 2.9 ounces. The phone fitted perfectly in the case, but I noticed the case was hard to snap into place near one of corners. If the case is note fully snapped together, the frame can separate from the main part of the case if dropped. The case had a built-in metal kickstand which tucked away neatly when not in use. The built-in wireless charging created a strong hold and I felt the connection was stronger than the phone without the case. The camera button for this case was advanced as Zagg created a button which worked flawlessly with the phone. There are many great options for protecting your new phone. I have been pretty pleased with this case and would recommend it for its great protection and warranty.

Review of ZAGG Rainer Snap with Kickstand for Phone 17 Pro Max - Sandstone The case from ZAGG for iPhone 17 Pro Max consist of a frame for the front side of the phone that works as alike a sealing the phone after placing it in the case. The experience of placing the phone in the case hasn’t been a struggle per se I would say. It only took some effort to place the frame as it required to put pressure around the shape until could see completely has been sealed. Furthermore for the section at bottom where is the USB-C charing and speaker, it took extra work to make sure it fits correctly as it didn’t at first. Then the case includes a cover for the USB-C, and the covers of buttons for respective functions are responsive as expected. The kickstand is functional on vertical or horizontal mode of the phone. It is easy to do pull out and back in a single movement. Now on the surface, its look and feel are quite sturdy, and provide strong protection. Across all edge the case has thick bumper as protection. Highlights of key benefits: 1. Kickstand that works vertical and horizontal mode, it takes just single action to use it and it can be done while using the phone. Practical. 2. Protection, Thick bumper like edges, and specially provide protection in the camera and flash area. A big plus as it doesn’t require a second protector for the area. 3. Phone buttons works well despite of thick covering. What I wish it does better: 1. The case doesn’t fit perfectly the bottom part where match the frame with the case for the USB-C protecting area. Despite of multiple trial to make it to fit such not leaving space, it leave a tiny space still. 2. Using the kickstand, it works well for viewing the screen. But if start doing tap on the phone while it is on stand mode, the phone starts destabilize with little touch alone. It needs additional support such to maintain stable. Then naturally by its design, it is doesn’t fit to the pocket or take quite space in the handbag; but this aspect comes in the kind of case is. Except of the above usage description that counter the slim form of iPhone, the case is quite protective of peace of mind.

I’m trying out a ZAGG case for the first time, and I’ve been a fan of their screen protectors for years, so I was excited to see what their cases were like. This case is really well made. Once you snap the two halves together, the phone feels super secure. It does make the phone a bit bulkier, which is a small trade-off. But honestly, it still feels great to use, and the peace of mind it gives is fantastic. Setting it up is easy. Just pop the phone into the back half, then put the top part on and make sure it snaps all the way around. Taking it off is just as simple. The color is nice, and I love the kickstand accents and the MagSafe feature. All the buttons are still easy to use, even the camera control, which is completely covered. The charging port also has a little cover that pops up when you need to access it. I’m using this case with a ZAGG screen protector and lens covers, and everything works perfectly. They cover most of the camera plateau with openings for the lenses and a little pill-shaped opening for the flash and sensor. If you’re looking for some seriously tough protection for your new iPhone 17 Pro Max, this is the way to go. Combined with the screen protector and lens covers, it feels almost indestructible. A great case!

When I first opened the box, I thought this case would be too bulky for me, but it’s actually slimmer than it looks. I really like the gray, slightly purplish border and the clear back that shows off the color of my iPhone. I’m normally someone who uses very minimal cases because I haven’t broken a phone since the old candy bar style days, which were almost indestructible. Oddly enough, after using this case for a few days, I accidentally dropped my phone face down on my tile floor from over four feet. It made the exact sound you never want to hear, and I fully expected my screen to be shattered. To my surprise, my phone was completely fine. The “snap” portion of the case did come undone on impact and the top of my phone popped out slightly, but the case still did its job. The kickstand - This was the feature I was most excited about, but also the one that disappointed me the most. The kickstand is glued to the phone case, not hinged in, or screwed in, but glued. It’s a mind-boggling oversight at this price point. However, before it broke, the kickstand worked great under ideal conditions, like on a perfectly flat and level surface. However, I often set my phone up on the couch while I play guitar and watch videos, and I spend more time standing it back up than actually playing guitar. The problem is that the kickstand isn’t centered; it’s mounted near the bottom of the case. I understand why they did that, since it allows the phone to stand in portrait mode too. As far as installation goes, it’s pretty straightforward. The snaps on the bottom of the case gave me some trouble when I first put it on, and for the sake of this review, I took my phone out and tried reinstalling it. Sure enough, those bottom snaps were still a bit finicky. Once it’s on though, it stays secure, aside from my one drop. One thing worth noting is that this case does an great job of keeping water out. I often take my phone in the shower and place it in my shower niche so I can watch sports in peace and quiet, and I haven’t had any water get trapped inside the case. It feels very well-sealed and protective, all except for the kickstand, which quickly fell apart when exposed to the steamy air in my shower. Overall, this case is secure, fairly low profile, and looks great. The kickstand was a massive dud, and the snaps can be a little tricky to line up, but protection wise, it does a great job.

This case does not handle fingerprints well, and it’s very difficult to clean. My particular case also came with some scratches on the inside perhaps do to the Store employee installing it for me I can’t be sure the case is heavy, but solidly built. The stand is useful and works well. It doesn’t offer any real protection for the camera lenses although the case seems to offer solid protection for me it’s a fail in most other areas. The access to the camera button works well I would rate the queso was just OK, but not worth the money they ask for it.

The case gives a lot of protection. It has fallen many times and no damage. However, the light tan color of the case picks up colors.
