Got this for my wifes IPAD because she wanted back lit key board. Its on the heavier side(Doesnt bother me because i know itll have no problem protecting the IPAD), and the hinge to adjust the tilt angle is a bit finicky. No problems with keyboard itself. She just got a LOGITECH, much lighter and the angle of the screen is much easier to adjust

This keyboard/case is indeed rugged. This is my 2nd Zagg case. I wore out the first one and had no hesitation to get another. My only concern is that the hinge action is very tight causing concern that the hinge could break while opening/closing the lid.

Very durable case. I am using it for 11 year old son. His only complaint is that it a little heavy.

I can’t imagine NOT having a Zagg Rugged Book for my iPad. I take my iPad everywhere, and with the Rugged Book my iPad is not only protected, but more functional (for me) with the lighted keyboard. With daily use, I have had a Rugged Book last two years before replacing. If you love your iPad, or one for your child, I highly recommend this product.

Bought this after 2 failed attempts at identifying a useable and appropriate keyboard folio case. The first one was approved by my salesman after I asked him if that one was compatible with my current iPad. After I got it home and tried to put my iPad in that case, I discovered it wasn't compatible. The second purchase was my fault as I missed the wording LOL. Long story short, this was my 3rd attempt and I struck gold! Easy to use, hold a charge in the bluetooth keyboard for days, sturdy and easy to use! Great job!

Good, quality product. Liked the prior version better, the new one has a flap over the where you plug in the charger. I’m concerned that this will eventually break off. Otherwise - I love the keyboard!

This is an AMAZING keyboard! It turns a tablet into a laptop and makes it very portable. It is very easy to use, and the quality and durability of the case is excellent! Not to mention, the keyboard has a great battery life! I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a sturdy case and a relatively inexpensive keyboard(in comparison to Apple’s Smart Keyboard) for your iPad! I hope this is helpful! :)

I really love this keyboard and Case. The case is so sturdy, I’ve dropped my iPad a few times and it has never gotten damaged. I love being able to type on the keyboard, and it’s really versatile to be able to use the iPad in different ways.

It worked great for about four weeks. I liked the durability of the protective case and the backlit keys. It was a really nice item while it worked. However, after four weeks several keys stopped working (q, w, e, r, t) for no apparent reason. The rest of the keys still work. I checked online and several other people have a commented that these same keys have stopped working on their device. I guess I’d still recommend this product as it seems like the problem I encountered is limited. I’m hoping that Zagg stands by their 1 year warranty. That will determine if I recommend this product to anybody else.

This is a great case. Sturdy and easy to keep a grasp on, which makes you less likely to drop it in the first place. Personally, I like the extra weight over my lightness and smooth surface of the iPad alone. The two halves separate easily, so you can use it as just an iPad or more notebook form. It was recommended to me by a friend and I would highly recommend the ZAGG case to anyone else.

Excellent product and keyboard is probably one of the best out there for the 10.2 I-Pad. Case is sturdy as well, don't see anything bad happening to the iPad and the keyboard holds charge for an extremely long period of time

This case is strong and the battery life on the keyboard is impressive.

I was looking for a way to protect my iPad which this does very well. I also have the benefit of a keyboard so that I can use this as a replacement for my laptop. I also like that there is a place to keep my pencil. The only thing that could be improved is that the cover over the lightning port could have been eliminated as it is going to become floppy over time.

Depending on air temp, sometimes product can be difficult to open, and doing so almost feels like it might snap. I've only had the product for a few weeks, but so far, so good.

This case is also a keyboard and stand for my iPad. The salesperson recommended it for me and I really like it. It is a bit heavy to carry around but I think I will get used to that. the case is good protection for the iPad.

Great cover as theirs ancestors nice detail on the backlit lights now you can change the colors to customize it BUT the pencil holder does not hold the pencil really well, sorry for zagg and this great fail here! Apple pencil is an expensive tool and delicate as the same time and a holder that doesn’t work like you expect is a GREAT risk! They could add some kind of magnets to hold it better in place or something like that! Hope they can fix this soon. I’m still a fan of Zagg.

I love, love, love this case for durability with regard to protecting my iPad, however 7 months it got very tight to open. Subsequently the plastic that holds the iPad portion weakens and eventually it breaks off thus I can’t open and close the case without manually working it from there. Too bad, I really liked this case. I’m going to contact Zagg and see if they’ll warranty it. We’ll see.

Spoke w/ BBY sales person and requested a keyboard/case for an Apple IPAD Air2. I was provided a Zagg product that was for an IPAD Air3. I had to return it due to believed missing pieces. While returning on 0708/2021, I was told that I would receive the replacement via mail at my residence the next day, 0709/2021. The Zagg product was finally received on 07/26/2021. The replacement Zagg (received 07/26/2021) product again did not fit my IPAD Air2 but was for an IPAD Air3. I returned to the store (07/27/2021) and spoke with the manager. To my surprise, I learned that my purchase price was refunded to me on 07/08/2021, so essentially I got the unusable product free. I gave the Zagg product back to the manager. He noted to me that BBY does not carry a Zagg product that is usable with an IPAD Air2. I am appreciative to the people who helped me but I spent a lot of time not getting what I wanted. I’m back at square one. Please note the description on the Zagg product. It says Apple IPad and does not delineate between an Air2 or 3.

For the first year, I would’ve rated it 4 stars. It’s a great, secure case. The keyboard paired well. The only issue was that the hinge was so tight that it would often snap apart rather than hinging. Then, almost exactly a year after I bought it, the comma key acted like it was being pressed over and over again rapidly. I took the key out and tried to blow out anything that might’ve been stuck in the mechanism. It didn’t work. After about the fourth time trying, another key stopped working too. The rapid repetitive triggering of keys renders the keyboard useless. It never even saw that much use, because I tend to favor my other devices. With how long iPads last, I’m expecting that I paid way more per month of use for this keyboard case than for the iPad itself, which is very disappointing.
