The Best Buy employees did an excellent job installing my screen protector on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. It’s perfectly straight and covers the entire screen with no bubbles or dust. I’m really happy with the result and appreciate how smooth the process was!

This is my first Zagg screen protector. I have really sensitive eyes so I was definitely intrigued by the blue light filter protection. I’ve noticed I’m straining less at night while on my phone and waking up with less headaches. ———————— I was extremely skeptical with the install. Little confused at first but there is a QR code to watch a quick tutorial video. After that it was an absolute piece of cake. You have all you need to make sure it’s a smooth, flawless install. ———————— Usually I have a dust speck or two during install with other screen protectors I’ve tried over the years, but this was a first where it was impeccable. ———————— The glass is extremely smooth as well, doesn’t add bulk or weight and isn’t noticeable. It’s case friendly and covers the screen ratio to a 100 percent perfect fit. ———————— It’s provides less of a glare as well and shows less smudges/holds less smudges overall too. I was worried it could interfere with Apples anti glare built into the new 17 pro max but this seems to add to it a little better. ———————— Definitely would recommend this screen protector and my first experience with Zagg as a glass screen protector is a great one where I will continue to use them moving forward.

I sometimes leave my phone face down on a table, and I always worry about scratches on the screen, so I usually get a screen protector for that reason. I’ve been using ZAGG screen protectors since they were thin films back in the day. First off, I’ve tried a bunch of tempered screen protectors from different companies, and there are two things I really like about how ZAGG handles installation. First, it’s super easy to install. You just lay the phone screen down, put the cover over it, and pull out the tab. Press down for a few seconds, and when you take the cover off, the screen protector is all set. The second thing I appreciate is that the installation tray seems to be made of cardboard or paper. All the other installation trays I’ve seen are usually hard plastic. The screen protector feels like the original glass from the iPhone. As for the blue light filter, it’s hard to tell if it’s working. I usually don’t have any issues with not using blue light filters. Plus, the screen protector doesn’t distort the color or image from the phone, so no problem there. I have a bunch of cases that I rotate between, and the screen protector doesn’t have any issues with any of them. This is a great screen protector. Installation is simple, the quality of the protector is great, and it doesn’t detract from the great iPhone screen. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the edges of the screen protector could be curved, because I feel like some debris can get stuck along the edge, but that’s seriously nitpicking.

This is the best screen protector, period. With my previous phone, went through several generic and brand name screen protectors. Installation is always tricky on these. However this the most simple and clever installation system I've used. The box that this came in. which is made of paper, is the installation tool itself. First, use the three step screen cleaning process: Wet wipe, followed by a microfiber cloth and finishing with a lint removal adhesive sheet. The screen looks like new after this. Then place the phone on top of the lower half of the box, put the top cover, holding the phone and then slowly pull the tab. Press a bit more and then remove the phone. The end result is a perfectly aligned screen protector with no bubbles. This is the only screen protector in which I did not have to fight any bubbles. Perfect installation. I was pleasantly surprised. The screen protector itself is a bit thick, with rounded edges and protects the whole front of the phone. Because it has a blue light filter it slightly changes the hue, however got used to it in no time. After some time cannot even tell there is a screen protector on the phone. ZAGG provides lifetime warranty on it. Highly recommended. Not the cheapest option, the best product.

I always use a screen protector on my iPhone screens but I have typically stayed away from glass screen protectors and more pricey options due to thinking they were unnecessary for my needs (I typically am only concerned about surface scratches versus screen cracks). I was hesitant to give the Zagg XTR 5 Blue Light Screen Protector a try but the blue light protection caught my attention as I have started to notice more eye issues over the years with all of the screen time I seem to be dealing with daily. I was instantly impressed with how easy and fool proof installation was. Absolutely no bubbles or not quite right alignment. Touch screen sensitivity remains the same as it would be with no screen protector and actually much smoother than the cheap non-glass options I was using before (which before now I was convinced were prefect). While I can't say that the claim of sleeping better and waking up more refreshed is true for me (no screen protector is going to do that for me lol) I do feel like I notice a difference in eye strain so far. We will see over time if I notice less side effects from my screen time use and if I do I might need to check if Zagg offers this protector for my iPad Pro M4 or a solution for my MacBook Pro. Overall, I'm convinced that this may be a screen protector that is well worth it. If the blue light technology truly helps improve our eyes and side effects from screen time use in a meaningful way it would be a great idea for everyone to give this protector a try!

I’m usually very skeptical of screen protectors — they all claim to offer easy installation, zero bubbles, and stronger tempered glass compared to other brands. To my surprise, the ZAGG XTR 5 seems to actually deliver on its promises. === PROS === - This screen protector is probably the easiest to install compared to all other brands I’ve used in the past. It comes with ZAGG’s “PerfectFit” installation tray. All you have to do is clean your screen with the included supplies, place your phone face down in the tray, apply some pressure, and peel the tab. The entire process takes just a couple of minutes. After installation, I had just a few minor air bubbles that quickly went away with a few wipes from my finger. - The XTR 5 perfectly fits over the entire screen of my iPhone 17 Pro Max and leaves the perfect amount of space around the bezel to allow for a case. With my Apple TechWoven case on, I can barely tell the screen protector is installed. - ZAGG makes a lot of claims about the blue light reduction and color enhancement capabilities of this screen protector. I have no way of testing those, but I can say that the XTR 5 does not diminish the quality of beautiful iPhone OLED display in any way. Other screen protectors I’ve used had a rainbow effect or diminished colors when viewed at an angle, but not this one. It’s crystal clear. If it truly is filtering out blue light for better sleep, then it’s doing so in a way that is basically imperceptible. - The XTR 5 seems to resist fingerprints better than other, cheaper screen protectors. I used to have to wipe fingerprints off my screen multiple times a day. Now I do it maybe once a day at most. - I’ve been using the screen protector for two weeks and there is not a single scratch or scuff on it, even after keeping it in my pocket with coins and car keys. === CONS === - For this price, ZAGG should really give you two screen protectors in the box. That seems to be the norm these days for most screen protector brands in case you mess up the installation or break the screen protector. ZAGG offers replacements if you register through their website, but it would still be nice to have a backup in the box. - A small squeegee should have been included in the box to help remove air bubbles. Not a huge deal, but it would have been a nice touch. === OVERALL === You get what you pay for, and the XTR 5 is probably one of the best screen protectors on the market. You could go with a cheaper no-name brand, but you will certainly sacrifice display quality and ease of installation. The XTR 5 is pretty much everything you could hope for in a screen protector.

Screen protector review I’ve had my screen protector on for a minute and let me tell you it’s my second phone where I’ve had a protector on the screen. I have my phone insured but if I can add a preventative measure to avoid a claim I will. In the past I’ve disliked screen protectors because they are either super thick and obvious which make it distracting for me or they peel off. It’s super easy to keep it clean the and the fact that the kit comes with a cleaning kit makes it amazing. Installation is great. It comes with the device so that you can place your phone and clean the screen. Apply the protector and move on some amazing features that I loved after having used the screen protector on my phone for a few weeks is the blue light technology. I do find that in the evenings before bed. The screen is a little bit easier on my eyes, it doesn’t forgo any colors. Either. In fact the colors feel more vibrant and crisp overall a great investment for your iPhone. If you’re a person on the go who always tosses their phone and risk scratching the glass. I’ve had no issues or complaints thus far I’ll definitely be purchasing Zagg protectors in the future!

This screen protector fits my phone perfectly and looks very clear. Touch and Face ID work just like normal. It was easy to install with no bubbles, and the glass feels smooth and strong. After weeks of use, there are no scratches or fingerprints. Excellent quality and worth the price!

Extremely easy to install. Had 2 smaller bubbles but they disappeared in 24 hours. No fingerprint issues and isn’t sticky like some other protectors I’ve used. Blue light filter is still questionable because my iPhone had an automatic screen change when in low light conditions. This is my 2nd time getting this protector and have been happy with both. I’ve also done multiple exchanges through Zagg and have had no issues. Just have to pay the shipping cost. Would recommend to anyone willing to pay a premium price.

ZAGG did it again! This is an upgrade from the screens for the 16 pro max (xtr4)! Doesn’t disturb the quality of the 17 pro max screen, covers all the area, is case friendly, has blue light protection (you can see it before you install but don’t notice when using). Reduced eye strain with it on the device for sure. I have had these on my devices since the blackberry days and never have had to replace a screen! ZAGG has great customer service as does Best Buy!

I recently installed the ZAGG XTR 5 Blue Light Glass Screen Protector on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, and while the final result is decent, the installation process was more frustrating than expected. I followed the instructions carefully, but each time I tried to remove the phone from the provided holder, it felt like the screen protector was being pulled off with it. I also encountered an air bubble during installation—thankfully, I was able to lift and reseal the protector to smooth it out. The biggest hiccup was having to manually detach the final piece of film that’s glued to the installer cardboard just to make the setup work. Hopefully, this isn’t a common issue for others. On the bright side, the screen protector itself performs well. It noticeably reduces blue light strain on my eyes without distorting screen colors or clarity. So far, it’s holding up nicely and feels smooth to the touch. Overall, the product delivers on its promise of eye protection and screen quality, but the installation could definitely be more user-friendly.

Crystal clear and easy to install, perfect fit!!!!

The package includes the cleaning wipe, dust removal sticker, and the install box with the screen protector in the box inserted. There are instructions on the packaging on how to insert the phone into the install box, but nothing about how to use the included cleaning solutions, meaning the wet wipe and the dust removal sticker. The installation is pretty simple. You insert the phone into the install box, then close the box cover and pull out the plasticky end that sticks out from the box. Then they instruct you to press the install box in the center for a couple of seconds to complete the process. It takes just seconds to install the screen protector. It works so well that initially I thought that the whole thing did not work properly as I took the phone out of the install box and did not see any difference or so it looked that way at the time. Not a single air bubble would show. Only after several hours did I notice the screen protector being on the phone when something did appear different in one of the corners of the screen. Upon careful inspection, I noticed that I actually had the screen protector on the phone but also unfortunately it was coming off in one of the corners. I tried a number of times to push it on the screen in that area that was coming off, but each time after several minutes it was back to the same issue. So I do have the screen protector on the phone but one corner visibly shows that the screen protector does not stick to the screen as it should. Later on, I also noticed that the left side of the screen was not entirely covered, I could clearly see the edge of the screen protector slightly away from the edge of the phone screen. It was a very narrow strip, maybe 1/16 of an inch, but visible from a side, not from the top. On the other side the screen protector was perfectly aligned with the edge of the screen. Does it mean that the screen protector is narrower than the actual phone screen? Maybe. This screen protector is clear, and I did not notice any impact on the perceived colors or brightness levels when compared to the identical model of the phone we have in the household. I did not perform any scratch tests nor any drop tests, so I cannot say how durable and effective this screen protector is. I just need to trust the manufacturer that I have some additional level of protection against falls and scratches. But that corner where the screen protector is coming off does bother me a little because it is visible from a side. Would I get it again? Not sure. The installation was perfect when compared to my last experience from years ago. No air bubbles whatsoever. No impact on colors and brightness levels is a good thing. But that corner where this thing comes off is something that probably would prevent me from getting this screen protector again. And I don’t believe that that non-sticking corner is my fault, meaning that the installer error caused that corner coming off as the install method leaves nothing up to the installer. So the concept is great, but the execution is not perfect.

I bought this screen protector for my iPhone 17 Pro Max when I upgrade from my iPhone 14 Pro Max. On my iPhone 14 I had the XTR 3 which was the $30 version of this one. The XTR3 was very delicate, so that's why I decided to go with this one, which is the XTR5. Since it stated it was a bit stronger than that one. Yes, it is stronger than that one because the XTR3 was very delicate. I knew if I ever drop my phone the screen protector would break but this one the XTR5. I've dropped it a couple times already and the screen protector has yet to crack. Even though this one's a bit on the pricey side, I would highly recommended if you do not want to be replacing your screen protector often and with it having a time warranty I do love this screen protector.

This screen protector is a must. There is a distinct difference in how the screen looks, especially in dark settings. The blue light filter is definitely evident. Zagg screen protectors have saved my screen in drops on 2 phones! Excellent product!

bought the ZAGG Glass XTR5 Blue Light for my iPhone 17 Pro Max and installed it in under five minutes using the included tray—perfect alignment on the first try and zero bubbles. I snapped on Apple’s TechWoven case afterward and there’s no corner lift or haloing. Indoors (my usual), the blue-light filtering does what it says: late-night reading is easier on the eyes and I’m not squinting under office LEDs. The coating keeps swipes fast and clean, and clarity is excellent for a glossy protector. You will see a very slight warm shift on pure whites—that’s normal for blue-light filters and it’s subtle. My only gripe is price; you’re paying a premium. That said, between the durability, lifetime replacements, and the optional screen-repair add-on, the total value pencils out. Bottom line: If you live on your phone indoors—especially at night—this is the most feature-complete glossy protector I’ve used. Buy once, stop thinking about it.

This screen protector is just what is needed to provide further protection for my phone. It went on easy with no issues.
