Would rate a 5 stars were it not for the weight of this keyboard. This one, however, is loaded with useful features, easy to use, and compact. Keyboard battery lasts a very long time. Zagg had to cut some keys in half & they chose the right ones to cut. Good value because i would much rather type on a real keyboard than on-screen. Nice job!

I purchased the Zagg keyboard for my girlfriend as a gift. I have one for my iPad Air and my previous iPad 2. As expected the Zagg did not disappoint. The keyboard is similar to a traditional keyboard and the battery life is fantastic. It has now replaced her toting around Her laptop to meetings. Great product, I highly recommend.

Great keyboard for function and the colors are nice and can change brightness. The only down side is the way it holds the ipod mini. It hooks in on one side so if you shake either one the other comes off. Knowing this and accepting the kids have to not walk around from spot to spot with it makes the only down side.

I had been waiting for something like this, and I've been following the Zagg keyboard for some time. They nailed the keyboard design part a while ago with the backlight keyboard and low profile. This one added the slim profile that makes it easy to use the iPad with and without the keyboard. I especially liked the fact that it's designed for both keyboard and reading modes of use, where the keyboard can be put behind the mini. My only issue is that the way the mini connects to the keyboard sometimes feels a little loose. I've never had it fall out, but it wouldn't survive a modest drop. And keep in mind, that this won't work with a back case on the mini unless you are up to modding it to cut out the area that slides into the hinge on the keyboard. So the back of the mini will be exposed. If you are worried about scratches, then just get a Zagg back skin or something similar that is low profile. That should still work with the keyboard hinge, as long as it's not too thick,

I love that it is a cover and a keyboard and wireless. I haven't had to charge it yet!

I'm not very proficient at typing, but I'm better at typing on the keyboard than typing on the the screen. So I always purchase a keyboard when I buy a tablet. I like this keyboard! It has the lighted keys and they're soft to the touch, but not so soft that you inadvertently enter random characters. I like the 'shortcuts' that are built in as well.

I bought it for the ipad mini retina hoping it would work. it does not fit, the retina is a tiny bit thicker than the old mini. otherwise this cover was the best solution! I settled for the keyboard case which is also very nice.

I love being able to type on a keyboard vs being able to touch letters or numbers. Being able to type in the dark (keyboard lights up) is a big plus.

product works as expected, no issue with the actual keyboard...the only negative is texting, hard to push send, but other than that, is great! I bought this one for my husband and I think I'm going to buy one for myself.

guess I expected something different. I thought it was going to be like computer with mouse pad. Can't figure out how to turn on/off. Suppose to use switch on side, but doesn't work. Doesn't show when it needs changing. It cost me half as much as iPad and find it useless.

Fits easily on my ipad mini and is not bulky so they easily fit in my purse.

This key board is great. It works very well and the back lighted keys are a super nice touch. A couple of the keys are cramped but we are talking about an iPad mini. Not a problem in my opinion. The 3 tap on any key to wake was confusing at first. It doubles the thickness of my mini which is to say it's quite thin. When you switch/flip the ipad on the key board to use as a reader it's not quite as secure but still works well. The first thing I noticed was how nice it felt. It gives off the feeling of quality that the iPad gives off. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I bought this for my brother for his birthday and he just loves it. He uses his iPad mini in the car and docks it on his stereo, and he always wanted a keyboard, but he din't like the ones that were attached by a case since he would have to take it off every time he wanted to dock it, so this one works perfectly since it attaches via a magnet just like the smart covers do! He uses it all the time and it grips the iPad enough that it can be used kind of like a net book! The back light on the keyboard is great too, it lights up seven different colors (you can also turn the light off) and it's really easy to switch the colors!

This keyboard is probably one of the best accessories I've ever bought. It fits the mini perfectly and supports it well, so you can adjust the screen to different positions without problem. It also doubles as a protective cover for the screen, so it fits all your needs. The positioning of the keys takes a little getting used to on the edges since they're shrunk to fit the ipad mini, but it's really not hard to adjust to. I highly recommend getting one!

The Keyboard Cover for Apple iPad mini helps my little brother use the key board, like a computer for typeing. While it keeps the mini somewhat protected.

Works well, battery life is good and it makes typing on a iPad a dream.

One of the problem with my iphone was the text editing. Using the keyboard on my ipad makes it a purchase because I take a lot of notes.
