Great movie, had to buy the blu ray version because this is a real keeper and want to rewatch it in HD going forward.

When I first saw this movie in the theater I recalled from various tv news events that matched up with scenes throughout the movie. Having seen the news events but not connecting the dots because the news reports did not have or know the connections. This movie illustrated all those events and how they related to the hunt for OBL. And that is what makes this movie so awesome. Not to mention the excellent mock up of the stealth helicopter used to transport the SEAL team on the mission. The "other" movie fails at this in its lack of attempt to aim for accuracy of the stealth transport which played a crucial role in secretly evading Pakistani radar en route to the compound. It's very important because on the mission one of the helo develops trouble and ends up leaving a trace of the tail section (after the main fuselage was thoroughly torched) which caught international headlines. The Blu-ray features extras about the making of the movie which I found very interesting as well. I would say the movie does a fairly good job at telling the story. You also have to be aware going in to watch this movie that it is a true life drama that follows a chain of events and it is not an action flick. If you are expecting the later, you will be sorely disappointed.

Movie shows how brave those military members were. This operation was no gimme and almost went horribly wrong. Having James Gandolfini play Leon Panneta is a bonus!

Very good movie for those who are into action and realism

Zero Dark Thirty is a depiction of the process of finding and killing UBL. Jessica Chastain delivers a great performance, playing the sometimes unstable, but insightful CIA analyst who is on the case for the better part of a decade. The film follows her involvement from on-the-ground interrogations in the Middle East, CIA black sites around the world, to headquarters in Langley, Virginia as she works to unravel the chaotic and often contradictory information extracted in morally questionable ways from terrorists. The movie ramps up in intensity all the way to its eponymous climax, which is very intense and thrillful. I found the movie very interesting because it shows a behind-the-scenes look at the intelligence community, which does a dangerous, deadly, very important and much appreciated job for our country. This movie should be required viewing for all high school students. Highly recommend.

The DVD was easy to order. It arrived on time and it played in my DVD players without a hitch.

Great movie saw it once before liked it then and decided to pick it up for 5 bucks and on blu Ray

If you like action then you will love this one. At this price it just can't be beat!
