Great product you can basically charge it and it's almost ready to use very good stabilization you can do a lot of great videos with it

I have an iphone 8+ and only used this once but it produced video that was stabilized compared to when I didn't use it. I even had my kids use the gimbal and the results were good. Again only had it for a few weeks but so far no issues.

Did my research before making this purchase, so I knew what I was getting. Let me say I am not disappointed, I have been able to use about 7 different kinds of phones in this gimbal and get the same great quality every time. It's easy to use and has a mobile app that allows you to set the gimbal on a tripod and work it hands free. People who have seen me use it ask about it and I can't recommend it enough. If you're filming on a phone for whatever the reason this will make your footage look professional.

For anyone even remotely concerned with preserving your memories or capturing great video, this is a super budget friendly must have item. It’s easy to use, and the charge lasts a very long time. The only “negative” thing I have to say about it is that I do not use the associated app. Having an iPhone X, I just use the camera app on my phone. The app is about 3.5/5 rating in my opinion. But you don’t need the app to enjoy the immense benefits associated with this gimbal.

This great, affordable product has radically upgraded the quality of the video I shoot on my iPhone! It’s a simple to use but incredibly effective tool to stabilize video shot on my phone. Love the way the Bluetooth transfers control of the phone onto the gimbal! The price was right but there is no trade off in power or control of the camera. I am a very satisfied and pleased customer!

Setup is a little tricky at first but not too bad if you have some patience. Once everything is set, it works really well! Very smooth movement. My only wish is that it was weather resistant. I've used it during some snow fall and though some snowflakes accumulated and melted, the gimbal still works perfectly fine. I would feel a lot better knowing I could take it out in the rain if it was IPX certified. Build quality is as expected for this price. Not flimsy by any means and is fairly light for long periods of use.

As my youtube channel continues to grow, so does the equipment I use to film those videos. Now I'm not a big youtuber who makes enough extra income a month to call this a job, but I'm getting closer to my goal. With that said it was time to look into some sort of handheld gimbal stabilization to take more cinematic footage and I stumbled across this little gadget. It's called the Smooth Q by Zhiyun which has a 3 Axis Gimbal and sells for a great price of around $139 through major retailers like Best Buy. In the past few days I have taken some pretty cool videos of the kids and other clips for youtube and it has performed flawlessly. I have not even had time to really go through all of the features available and will update them with time. The ZY play app for IOS and android will connect the Gimbal t your smartphone for some really cool extra perks, like time lapse, slow mo, moving time lapse and much more. Although using this with the app I did notice a significant drop in battery on my iPhone 7 plus. But the app is not required to use the gimbal. The battery life has a rating of about 12 hours and since I charged it 2 days ago it has continued to work within this range. I also have a GoPro that works excellent with this and has made the footage look crisp and much smoother. It has a bottom mounting thread to support most tripods and monopod extensions as well. Another cool feature is object tracking which helps the gimbal and phone camera follow a target and focus automatically. The Gimbal fits most smartphones and select action cameras weighing up to 7.7 oz and up to 3.3" wide. ​This is by far the best purchase I have made for 2017 aside from the DJI Spark. The price point is great and won't leave your wallet feeling empty after the purchase and it works just as great if not better than the other high priced models out there today.

I like it and purchased it on the deal because I am a vlogger and Youtuber and wnated to see what the hype was all about. It does really stabilize the video especially if you are walking and or moving around. It takes a little getting use to though. You have think ahead if you are doing a video in portrait or wide mode because once it's turned on it's hard to adjust it on so you have to turn it off and adjust the phone. Also you may want to type in what your facebook llive is going to be about before putting the phone in the gimbal as it makes it tough to type what your live is going to be about. At anyrate if you are looking to stablize smartphone footage it will get the job done with a little planning ahead.

You get what you pay for I like the product however it has its ticks... 1st the instructions are very confusing hints a lot of it is in Japanese. 2nd the item dose face and body tracking but if you go out of frame it will loose you and start spinning around. 3rd there are times I turn it on with my phone in it and it slammed my phone in to the handle of it. However it think a lot of it has to do with the charging of it I don’t know. Oh and it will boot you out of the app every now and then. It’s great for the price but I wouldn’t do anything crazy with it. Stick to sit down videos or slow walks outdoors.

This works perfectly for making virtual tours of rentals. It took a few tries to get used to it but after that, it did what we needed it to. It's a little wonky powering on and you have to turn it off and then on until it adjusts to the right position. Not a big deal but others might be annoyed by that. The app that comes with it is okay, but I choose to use the iPhone's wide lens camera to record with instead. Overall good product and happy with the purchase.

It holds my iphone 10 perfectly, and after installing the app and learning a few basic bits of information - holds the camera steady and when moved, even. Attaches to a tripod easily and has a few neat features, like the ability to follow a particular person automatically. Odd, but not surprising, that some revierwers/users can't figure out how to use it and therefore give it a bad review.

Excellent product with lots of saving compared to big brand name. Just know may be little heavy with plus size phone such as 6 plus or 7 plus anything with 5.5' would be too heavy to hold. and does not fit with case on the phone. features are 5/5 so its own camera app is awesome. it gives you more feature to tweak around than native camera app.

I was reading that it didn't work well with larger phones but I had no problems. Works as advertised with no problems to report. Once set up with phone properly adjusted I was able to film some professional looking videos. If you are looking for a inexpensive gimbal I would definitely recommend this one.

The app is a pain as everyone else has said. The device is fairly easy to use after reading the setup guide. makes for a very stable platform for use.

Great product. I bought it to video and chronicle birth of my son. It records video in smooth fashion. I've head comments from others that it feels like a documentary. It took about an hour or 2 to read the manual and get it going but soon after it was smooth sailing. Even with just basic use it's great but I'm sure with the other added features that I still need to dive into, it'll be even better.

Great gimbal for small to small to medium phones. OnePlus 6T without the case is a challenge to balance. The motor is not strong enough for the OnePlus 6T. Gimbal has some desirable features the DJI 3 lacks. The carrying case is a guitar style. The case offers great protection but is not the most elegant. The app is a bit of challenge compared to the DJI 3 but does its job pretty good for an entry level gimbal. I will be returning it because it is not powerful enough to handle the OnePlus 6T.

Surprised , it came balanced right out of the box. Very good build on it , especially for the price! App works very seemless with this gimball

Worked as described. As I am not a videographer I was still able to use it with ease. I recommend this for anyone who wants silky smooth video on a budget.

I’m a YouTube so I have used many gimbals in the past. This one specifically just happens to be the 1st phone gimbal I purchased and the others I have used have been for DSLR cameras. Overall this gimbal works good. The battery and gimbal did great up until about 45 minutes of heavy use the gimbal started to heat up and shut down. Once it cooled down it worked fine again. The setup process is very easy to use. For heavy everyday use I would not recommend. For light once in a while use that would be ok.
