It can be difficult these days to travel with a guitar, especially on a plane. Space limitations, carry on rules, etc. I travel for work, and still want to get some practice time in, so I went for the Jamstik. I have two issues with it: 1. It is so small, that it is hard to handle. It doesn't rest comfortably on your leg or lap and the space up the fretboard is short. 2. Latency. Big issue. The sound is delayed slightly coming through your iPad or phone, and just enough that it is bothersome. I wouldn't rely on it for use at home, but it has its advantages for travel.

This guitar is fun and easy to use. I love it's size and ease of play. Other reviews claim there is a lag but I haven't experienced that. I am using this to practice on my lunch break in my car and I love that it is portable and I can use headphones so that no one else can hear what I'm doing.

I really wanted this to work but I could not get 3 strings to work. I tried everything till the last day of return. This may be the older version. I would recommend a up to date version.

My son got one and loves it. He then purchased one for my nephew who is having a blast. with it! It works well with his iPhone and is great for traveling along with him. I highly recommend this product , it's a cool tech-toy gift for anyone, not just for the kids!

I was excited to get this after seeing the reviews on YouTube because I thought I'd be able to use it at work during slow times to learn Guitar. I'm sure this is great if you own an apple device. I do not nor have I ever owned such a device. I thought I could use this with my Android phone but unless you have the latest Android gadgets, you can't download the app. So I have a $300 device that I can't use unless I spend a lot more money on a new mobile device. I'll probably have to sell it at a loss to someone with an iPad or iPhone that can actually use it .
