    the price is right!! night vision is good. just wish i could get the right time on the nvr recorder.

    Easy to set up

    This camera system was very easy to set up with the accompanying app ( I did my set up on a iPhone). I like the fact that the cameras are wireless and do not need to be connected to the DVR. Of course you still need to supply them power via a power cord, but this is a lot better than having to run long wires all over your house. The app so far has been easy to use, and overall I am very pleased with this system.

    I ordered this unit about 45 days ago. It arrived with screws loose in one camera and in the DVR. Exchanged it for another identical unit - waited another 2 weeks for it to arrive. DVR worked this time. However, both cameras were DOA (dead on arrival). No flashing lights or signs of life even after moving locations and using different outlets in the house. Pay more and get another brand of system.

    This Camera kit installation is a nightmare

    I purchased this Zmodo Camera kit based on the positive reviews on here. I followed every steps in the instruction included to try to get the cameras up and running and was able to get 1 camera out of the 2 to work. I tried calling Zmodo for help. Their customer service phone line doesn't exist. I went on their website and was able to connect with their Live Chat Agent. Things gotten worse after following their live chat agent instruction. Now both cameras are not working, no connection, no recording. Their live chat agent just stop responding after I told them both cameras are not working.
