    I got my Zmodo doorbell camera from Best Buy four years ago. It is wired to my doorbell chime and ever since I installed it my doorbell has been silenced, so we never know when someone is at the door and our lovely chime can never be heard. I tried troubleshooting on their website and with their phone support, but they were not able to help me get this resolved. So I resigned to not having a doorbell chime and was just happy to have recordings of visitors and comings and goings of my kids. It was nice because I could download and save any videos of movements that I wanted to save, even though I don’t have cloud service. The videos are deleted after 48 hours, which I think is sufficient time to review and downlod what I want. However, there was a recent update to the app that made it look fresher and cleaner, which is nice, but now all my playback and download features are gone. I went to the chat customer service to resolve, and they did not understand my English and were not able to help me. The greeting messages before the live agent comes on are horribly written, the grammar seems like it comes from someone who does not speak English as their first language. I think they’ve outsourced their support to a third world country that doesn’t understand our language or our technology and our way of life. Very disappointing! I think I’ll be on he market for a new doorbell camera from a better company very soon.

    Great Door Bell Camera

    Great Camera. Would def. recommend. It connected to my network and stay connected when other brand doorbell cameras would not. Good Picture. Catches people as they approach the door so you can see their face. The only thing I wish worked better would be I wish the motion detector range could be adjusted. I occasionally get cars going by. Other than that, it is a great camera.

    Best DoorBell Camera in the market does exactly as the other do but for half the price. Don’t hesitate in buying this. You won’t be disappointed.

    Great product, easy to install and use, makes life sooo much easier! Even my postpeople get amused when they see it! The camera in it makes the recording and the view so clear, very High Def, very clear image.

    Inability to not make videos renders Greet useless

    This Greet doorbell will make a video each time there is movement in front of it. - My doorbell has making videos every time a car passed in front of my house (about 50 yards from the doorbell). During the day, this was every 1-5 minutes. The doorbell's storage quickly became full. Additionally, there is no way to delete the videos without viewing each one. Because I do not have time to review and delete hundreds of videos each day, the Greet doorbell was rendered useless. I exchanged fourteen emails with Mood Customer Service Department and spoke with one technical representative. The customer service and technical support representatives told me to adjust the "Motion Detection Area" to limit the doorbell's viewing area. This seemed like it would solve the problem. But, this model of the Greet does not support that Motion Detection Area feature. - Even though I provided the model number of my Greet and send screenshots of the Mood App, the representatives told me to adjust the Motion Detection Area. - It took fourteen emails until a representative admitted my doorbell does not support the feature. - I believe the representatives were hoping I would "give up and go away." I believe all video doorbells, like Greet, should have the ability to not make a video recording if a car passes on a road within the view of the doorbell. Because (I assume) most doorbells are on the front of houses, and because most houses face roads, this is a necessary feature. This is similar to if automobile manufacturer sold vehicles that could drive, but could not stop. Stopping is a necessary feature of vehicles. Harm can be done if a car cannot stop (e.g., vehicle accidents). Not taking a video recording of cars as they pass on a road is a necessary feature of a video doorbell. Harm can be done if a video doorbell takes recordings of every car that passes on the road in front of the doorbell (e.g., the doorbell’s storage will be filled and it will no longer be used by the owner, which could cause further harm in the case of a home intruder) The Bottom Line - This Greet doorbell is useless because it will make videos so often it will fill the device's storage and bombard you with false alerts. The company has the ability to fix this problem, but chose to not do so in this model' and Zmodo's Customer Service of this doorbell is extremely poor.

Regarding the video storage limit, you can try to use cloud service for the doorbell if you would like the doorbell to record longer. We also recommend you to try on Zmodo Greet Pro regarding your needs.

    Great doorbell!!

    I previously had another video surveillance doorbell, and Zmodo has exceeded all of my expectations and is easily tons more reliable than the previously owned product! I plan to purchase the surveillance bundle as well to keep my family safe and Zmodo is the way we will go!

    Good DB Video

    Overall I think this is a great product and does a lot to enhance security for anyone. The video quality, even at night is outstanding! Setup was not too difficult (once I re-read the instructions and renamed my network to remove the space lol). My only suggestion or complaint is the limited adjustment on range and sensitivity. I get a lot of "false" captures due to vehicles driving by or wind blowing the tree branches. Other than that I am very satisfied with the Zmodo doorbell! In fact, i bought one for my elderly parents as well to increase their home security and convenience.

    Greet Security Video doorbell

    I lived in a unsafe neighborhood. I had been experiencing strangers break in attempts. The video doorbell secure my front door and the delivered package. The alerts are not 100% correct but it works for me with that price.

    do not buy at all trust me

    first of all if I could giver it a negative zero I would. it is the worst. I bought with a good feeling that it would work right and ive had nothing but problems with it. it disconnected about 2 days after I got it to connect and it won't ever connect. ive tried everything I could to get it to connect to see who's at my door and nothing and to make it worse customer service is horrible. they state that they are open until 8pm cst and I called at 6pm cst and it said they were closed and they have a online help which is a joke also they ask you a million questions to get you off the chat and after they see that you have a problem they disconnect from you. I really wish you would've gotten an upgraded zmodo doorbell as ive been told told this one is out of date thats wrong Best Buy to sell me an old outdated unit.
