Camera is of ok quality. But it won't integrate with my existing system.

the first time I got this camera I thought it would be easy to install . The first camera didn't work , I contacted zmodo tech support and after 2 hrs they told me the item might be not working I got a second one later but it also didn't work

Like the reviews said I can't seem the connect it to my wifi :(

I had this camera for about 10 minutes before I wanted to return it. I guess you get what you pay for. The sound quality was awful.

Still unable to connect the camera. Called and talked to customer support and they could not tell me why we were unable to connect.

Small camera. Decent wide angle. Infrared is decent but there is a loud click sound when it turns on, which is odd. Image is good, it starts in low quality but can be switched to 720p with a toggle in the app. Setup wasnt the easiest, had difficulty connecting to wifi. I discovered that the wifi password cannot be longer than 20 characters for it to connect. My password was way longer but I created a new password for the network and connected fine afterwards. Audio isnt great and the speaker on the camera is small so it isnt that loud but its good enough to hear and speak with someone through it. Once setup, it does save images to your phone for review when it detects noise or motion. Battery drain on your phone from the app can be an issue but I just turn off push alerts and notifications within the app if it isnt necessary.

I could not get camera to link to wifi at my shop or my home could be me but not sure I followed instructions.

Got camera, and hooked up easily to wifi on first try. It took a picture. The MEshare app is not at all user friendly and one is unable to find out how to control the camera. Then the camera said it went offline. Zmodo website was totally useless. Deleted camera and tried to reconnect. Tried numerous times, would not reconnect. Tried calling customer support number numerous times, never an answer. Sent an email, there was no response. Went to chat. After a couple of responses, she tells me to email them. I said that did not work, she asks for a number on back of the camera, I give her the number, she asks for a different number, which I give her, which is still the wrong number, and she asks for a number and words that do not exist on the camera and after I tell her they do not exist, the chat session states that Winnie Z. is typing, but she has obviously left and there is no response for more than 1 hour, even though my messages appear in the chat session. Since the camera connected and then would not reconnect, I would say the camera is somewhat flaky and the support is the worst. Do not buy Zmodo.

This has good features but everything is blurry beyond 3 feet and no way is it 720p

I was looking for a small video camera to use at home. I found this one online and read the reviews and thought it was great for the price. It was pretty easy to set up and download the mobile app. It worked great the first two days I used it, the picture quality was really amazing, but then the problems started. On the third day I opened the app to check on my house everything seemed fine, I went back to check it a few minutes later and my device was offline. I tried to reconnect multiple times with no luck, but once I got home I could connect. Since then I can only connect while I'm at my house, which pretty much defeats the purpose of this camera. I did a little research with Zmodo community forums, and found that this problem is a very wide spread issue. I tried to email and instant chat with Zmodo with no response, which seemed to be the case for the other couple thousand people that had the same issue.

This camera requires setting up an account can't just be used on your own network.

neither of them have ever worked it was a waste of money and I would not recommend them to anyone

I got this camera to keep an eye on pets while away at work. The picture quality is rather impressive for what I paid for. Allows you to see live time on your mobile device, gives alerts of movement and sound. I really like that you can record video and speak through the mic. I have not looked into saving the recorded video as it was not a high priority to do so. EASY hook up to wifi. And when I turn the camera on and off, connection is automatic. Never have had issues. OVERALL GREAT!

We got this camera for some extra security around our apartment. It has night vision, you can talk through it, it detects movement, and you can hear audio. I absolutely love it and think it is definitely worth the money compared to the other cameras on this website! The only downside is that you have to have it plugged in at all times but we were able to make that work.

Full disclosure, i do work for Best Buy, but i'm writing this as a consumer not a customer. I LOVE this camera. we use this in the babies room. It's perfect. Our very expensive baby cam broke after just 10 months of use. I wish we had bought this right away. I've now told all of my friends to get this for their nursery. I've also purchased 3 additional for home security. It's extremely easy to set up, takes great video and pictures. It's more than worth the price.

If you want a cheap system for baby or even around the house it is good for the money. Easy to set up with the App. I did not give it 5 stars because sometimes the sensor is too sensitive or take a picture late....but other than that it serves the purpose.

Sound alarm recording, motion alarm recording, and nightvision is great! also it is saving that alarms and, you can view them later. So you can see whats going on. Android app is also very efficent. it is the best wifi cam for that price!
