The quality of the video is great. We have this in our front porch even though it says it is an inside camera. I get alerts on my phone when it detects motion so I can always see if there is someone at the front door. The 2 way speaker system isnt that great though.. its hard for the person standing at the camera to hear me, thats why I gave this 4 stars. Its definitely a steal at $39.99 though and would recommend this. I am going to buy another one for the backyard area as well.

This is an excellent basic camera. Setup is quick and easy with the meShare app. Video quality is very good, although less so on night vision, which is probably to be expected. At first I thought I had a problem when the camera would regularly go off line. After a call to Zmodo customer support, I learned it's not best to use an extension cord to power the camera, as I did while trying different camera locations . Apparently the camera is sensitive to slight variations in voltage that can occur with an extension cord, power strip, or surge protector. After plugging directly into a receptacle, no problems.

This cam is 720p and automatically adjusts from color to black & white when not enough light is present, and then to night vision when even less light is present. Setup is easy and use of free phone app and browser-based computer app is intuitive.

I have several of these around my property. My tenant says my property is like Fort Knox. I have them inside and outside of my home and with the app on my smartphone I’m able to monitor at home or away. Just added a doorbell camera by zmodo as well and it’s all on one app. Good for monitoring elderly as I do with Dad when I’m at work. Company security systems can cost you a small fortune and don’t allow for much coverage. Especially during the holidays when you’re expecting packages...Having these small cameras is awesome

i have not tried recording but it would have gotten 5 stars if there was a slot to add sd card for storing recordings, however great for when detects movement you can watch live audio and video as well as talk through the camera. it didnt always catch every motion alert because i know movement occured but i never got alert also a plus was that it took a few snapshots of the motion detection

App is reliable and works well on both Android and iOS. The camera itself is small and image quality is more than acceptable, especially for the price. The intercom feature is useful, but the lag is a bit annoying at times. The night vision works well. The alerts through the app are well thought out and keep quite a long history.

Great when you want to take a quick look at your dog or check the garage door and make sure its closed. I cant complain for the price its perfect.

I have a few different cameras that I use including a CCTV system and this camera is better than all of them. There is no extensive configurations with wizards and port forwarding. Very easy setup and functionality. To put it simple so far I've purchased 6 of them "so far". Great cameras!

I had trouble getting this to connect at first, then eventually got it to work. It usually works good, but there have been quite a few times when I checked the app & it says "CAMERA OFFLINE" which of course seems to be when I need to view it the most.

It has great Pic,they only down side is that when you trying to listen through the App it has Xtra noise coming from the Mic,customer service over the phone was not able to fix it,

Easy install and good quality for the price. My third and fourth for the house.

I got this camera to keep an eye on pets while away at work. The picture quality is very good. The wide angle covers a huge portion of my backyard. I can get live time on mobile device and on my computer. Fairly easy hook up to wifi. Although it is not rated for outdoor use, I built a dome around it and it works great! OVERALL GREAT

The two I got installed fast and easy. Alerts to my phone are prompt. Volume controls in settings made it more louder. My wife was very proud of me for the smooth install and she told me I’m definitely not the ghey.

I bought this as an are on to my wired security system. There are small blind spots that need periodic monitoring. I figured small wireless would do the trick. This camera is just that small, wireless and inexpensive. The picture a quality a is pretty good and there's a nice field of vision. The app is pretty simple but the push notifications are inconsistent to non existent. The clips are very short. It's also not tiny so there's no hiding it. As a camera I can move from place to place and connect to from anywhere it gets the job done.

This camera overall is definitely worth the money. Although it doesn't capture EVERY motion, 8 out of 10 times you will see exactly what's happening. This may be due to the placement of my camera or possibly incorrect lighting. I haven't had enough opportunities to know for sure yet. But the notifications that you can recieve are very helpful. Good camera, if it's 45$ and under buy it!

Very easy to set up. Much better quality for the price than expected. Phone app works great. Does everything I wanted it to do.

this is my second one, it is good and fits the needs/to make it a great product i would say better zoom feature would be nice,. but reliable and does do what i need it to do. so yes recommend

Easy to set up and simplefiably the best plug and play wifi camera ever. Just plug it in,enter wifi passcode and enjoy.

I got the camera to keep tabs on our new puppy and our senior dog. It does this and more. It provides a level security.

What a fantastic and inexpensive security camera! It connects easy to the app. I feel much safer at home. It is so easy to use
