For the true crime fan this is one you might to add to your collection.

I'm a huge fan of David Fincher's oeuvre. This man is responsible for some of my favorite films of the last two decades: Gone Girl, The Social Network, Se7en, Fight Club, and my personal favorite, Zodiac. Zodiac features an all-star cast led by Jake Gyllenhaal, an engaging story and script based on the true story of the infamous Zodiac killer, and beautiful cinematography by the late and great Harris Savides. With a run-time of over 2 and half hours, this may seem intimidating to some viewers, but I promise you will not be disappointed. This is a must-own film in my collection, and in everyone's collection.

Zodiac got unfairly treated by an audience that expected Se7en Part 2. Indeed, I expected something more akin to that film, and was initially disappointed by it. As time went on though, my mind wouldn't let me forget the film, and when the Director's Cut was announced, I gave it another shot to see if I was really missing something. After seeing the Director's Cut, I did a complete 180 on the film. I finally got what the film was trying to do, and I now consider it one of Fincher's best films (if not THE best). The Blu-ray had been out of print for way too long, so I was glad to see it brought back, and at a reasonable price too. Highly recommended.

"Zodiac" is a terrific film that's as historically accurate as it is enthralling. Under the able direction of David Fincher ("Se7en", "Fight Club"), the movie clearly portrays the terror, fear, and uncertainty that swept California during the late '60s and '70s as the self-named serial killer known as Zodiac began a killing sweep throughout the state. As members of a number of different police jurisdictions search for clues to the Zodiac killings, San Francisco Chronicle reporter Paul Avery and Cartoonist Robert Graysmith start tracking the killer from a journalistic side of the case. A solid cast adds to the mesmerizing plot. Robert Downey Jr., as always, is quirky and memorable as reporter Paul Avery. Jake Gyllenhaal plays the obsessive and dogged cartoonist Robert Graysmith. Mark Ruffalo plays a scruffy "Inspector Colombo-type" detective who trails the killer and never quite seems to catch up to him. Highly recommended.

This movie is absolutely amazing and everyone should have it. The Director's cut only adds a few minutes to the total run time. The scenes don't add too much but don't take away as in some director's cuts. The bonus features are really good. The back story on the Zodiac is great if you didn't know a lot going into the movie.

One of David Fincher’s best. Maintains your attention from start to finish. Highly recommend checking this one out.

Zodiac and Fight Club are masterpieces. The best work of the past ten years. Zodiac is a study in madness and obsession, and not just the killers. Even the lame Mark Ruffalo gives a good performance. Highly recommended, but skip Gone Girl.

Excellent release of David Fincher's serial killer masterpiece Zodiac. The packaging is nice and creative along with having good picture, sound, and feature quality.

Director David Fincher can do no wrongs and this was one of his best films he's made. An all star cast and a story worth paying for. This film is a classic and the Blu Ray is stunning. This should be in every movie lover's collection.

The story of one man and his fight to survive in a lawful town with rules and regulations. All work and no play make this boy cray-cray. This is my favorite movie and these bonus features on it make it even better.

I'll watch anything from David Fincher. Such a good thriller that could also be considered a horror.

A mesmerizing, thorough account of the different players investigating what is arguably the most famous unsolved serial killer case - Zodiac. The movie isn't for everyone as plays like a procedure. Awesome movie.

Incredible how many big time actors were in this and organically gelled together not forced and the movie keeps you on your toes for the full 2 hours and 40 minutes definitely recommend this for a crime thriller.

Zodiac is another excellent movie. The blu-ray quality is great, and so was the sound. One of favorite David Fincher movies. The story has you on the edge of your seat, like all of Fincher's movies.

This is a solid movie from a good director. A very underrated movie-this one doesn't get as much hoopla as some of his other movies-this is a forgotten movie.
