Simple rice cooker to use. Add rice and water to the bowl, plug it in, and then start the cooking cycle. This cooks in about 10-15 minutes depending on the amount. I have not tried the steamer insert. It is a bit small. Something twice as deep would be more practical, but the designer must have had a reason for the shallow insert. You can't go wrong with the manufacturer.

I bought this rice cooker for my daughter to use in her college dorm. She loves the fact that it doesn't take up much space on her kitchen counter and has rice ready so that dinner prep is a breeze. The handy steamer basket allows her to add vegetables to round out the meal. I especially love the fact that it has metal surfaces that touch the food and not plastic.

You can't go wrong with a Japanese brand rice cooker. I mean seriously... plus black is beautiful.

Simple and easy to use not like other rice cooker looks complicated. It shocked me how fast to cook the rice definitely recommended.

The rice scraper/scoop did not come with the package as indicated o the label. There was no way to turn off the rice cooker without having to unplug it.

This little rice cooker is very basic but it's also adorable. Follow the directions and measure your rice and liquid, and get perfect rice every time! I bought this to replace my instant pot that i mostly used for rice. The steamer basket is great too and you can toss veggies in it with rice on the bottom, and when it's done, you've got a carb and a veggie ready to go!

This is a really great price for an awesome rice cooker. Easy to use and instructions are very simple and even have a couple of recipes. Rice didnt stick to the bottom of the pot so that was awesome!

I was looking for a rice cooker after hearing all the hype. I really did not have the money to spend on an expensive one like I had been hearing about. This is the same brand as some of the more expensive ones I saw and I was skeptical at first, and I had really made my mind up that I would probably return it. Oh man, was I wrong. This rice cooker was an absolute game changer. I have used it multiple times now and with different rice types, and it has been a complete success each time. I would never cook rice any other way. For the price especially, I could not recommend this product enough. If you have never used a rice cooker before and are looking to take your rice game to the next level, this is a GREAT place to start.

Great rice cooker! It's so handy to just get the rice going and know that it doesn't matter if it takes me a bit longer to cook the main dish because the rice holds without getting gummy or sticky.
