Fun horror flick, way more comedy than horror and laughable effects

To be fair, when I first saw the poster for Zombeavers, I didn't think it was going to be something worth sitting through. I watch a lot of schlock, and some of the modern examples just try to hard or don't try at all. Zombeavers, on the other hand, strikes the perfect balance between "self aware" and "B-movie fun" with its off-kilter sense of humor, puppet monsters, and gratuitous nudity. It's not going to be for everybody, but if you like a creature feature on a modest budget that makes you laugh intentionally (and unintentionally), this is absolutely worth your time.

While it may sound like a waste of time, it isn't! If you are looking for cheesy (Army of Darkness cheesy) fun, then look no further! In the tradition of Sharknado, comes this very funny, not even scary film about a beloved furry creature with an appetite for human flesh! Oh and yes there are so many jokes about the name of the creatures in the film....

This is no masterpiece. Do NOT expect an "A" horror movie. But it IS a fairly well done humorous, campy movie. Admittedly, the bar was low for me when I rented this, but I laughed enough that I bought the BluRay. A little bit of a hidden gem.

YES....Zombie Beavers! And for queso lovers like myself, it works! Remember how everyone thought what a dumb idea for a movie it was about a bus that couldn't slow down to below 50 mph or it would blow up? I didn't go into watching this with great expectations either. But I was treated to a very fun romp involving the typical group of young adults out in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone service being stalked by zombie beavers. Zombie beavers start appearing everywhere - even though you later think, how did one get there? - and they tend to have a bit of a sadistic streak. They know what they are doing! Of course, the victims don't. But that's where all the fun comes in. Now, it would be inappropriate for me to advocate the viewing of this film under the influence of intoxicants - I didn't, and I enjoyed it. But, I can imagine how much more fun it would be if I did...

'Zombeavers'....that's exactly what the movie is, and it delivers on that concept. As such, the movie met my expectations, but did not exceed them. A good variety of special features makes the disc worth picking up for the decent price that Best Buy has this marked at. Thanks to Best Buy for releasing this on disc as a BB exclusive!

Zombeavers combines humor and horror to make for an interesting movie. The opening scenes are stylish and you would be surprised at the quality of the film. My friends and I all enjoyed the movie. The mix of nature and zombies was very unique. It certainly didn't hurt to add some college girls to the mix.

Citizen Kane this ain't, but it's a humorous, campy, tongue-in-cheek homage to the B-movie genre and a perfect example of how to balance humor, horror, and homage. It's the little touches that matter in a movie like this and Zombeavers delivers in spades.

We try to watch silly movies on Friday nights with our girls. This one meets that requirement and then some. If you "appreciate" the Sharknado series you will love this one. Chemically altered "beavers," the woodlands will never be the same!

Let's face it if you are thinking about buying a film called Zombeavers you have to be buying it for one reason only....to add to your So Bad So Good Film collection. With that in mind you will not be disappointed in this wacky little film.

man is this ever a campy horror movie....loved it...it's about as dumb as they come but funny to watch...probably not for young kids...bloody and boobs....be forewarned.....

This movie has got to be one of the most funniest horror comedies I have ever seen! The fact I liked it so much is that the beavers aren't CGI but are actually mechanically made! Impressive!

Low budget very adult old school zombie movie. Young adults get bit by contaminated beavers and turn into a Zombeaver. The ending kind of sucks, but the rest is low budget fun.

If you love the old "B" movies you'll love this!!! If you are too young to know what a "B" rated movie is pass on it you wont get it LOL!!!

Step right up folks, we got a real gem here. Take one part Evil Dead, one part Three Stooges, one part vintage spaghetti western, throw in some John Mayer and a crooner ending song that would make Ol Blue Eyes proud, and direct it by a card carrying member of the Ed Wood fan club!, Babes ,Beasts ,Blood galore, great special effects, one priceless package that cant be beat........ZOMBEAVERS ROCKS!!!

It is called "Zombeavers", and is, point of fact, about zombie beavers- so yeah, truth in advertising. Just based on the title you'll already know of this is something you are interested in or not. So if you are, you just need to know that this movie delivers on all the silly good times the premise promises with very little CGI. Yeah, this is mostly practical effects, which combined with the impressive amount of gore, should appeal to the horrorhounds no problemo.

Such a fun movie, killer beavers and hot girls. Makes for an interesting storyline.

Low budget fun, I enjoy low budget horror movies and this one was a nice addition to my collection. Zombie beavers good for some laughs

Hilarious movie... full of cheeziness :) Check your brain at the front door and enjoy this for what it is.. ha ha

With a title like Zombeavers you know exactly what kind of movie you are getting when you purchase this blu ray, and you are in no way disappointed. I enjoyed the film and loved the picture quality on the blu ray. It also came with a fair amount of extras. Well worth it if you're a fan of campy horror.
