Cheesy comic style movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.What do you get when you take an old WWII movie, throw in some aliens and a low budget? Zone Troopers. As with many movies I've been collecting recently, Zone Troopers has been on the top of my list. It started when The Force Awakens came out and I started collecting Star Wars inspired/rip-off movies, this was one of them. You have to look at this movie as you would any other from the late 70's to mid 80's. After Star Wars (and sequels) came out, everyone else was scrambling to jump on the sci-fi band wagon and either spent their time copying Star Wars or at least compete with it. Zone Troopers at least went the route with something original instead of doing what everyone else was. The budget was low and the dialogue is super campy, but if that's all you're watching it for and not expecting a blockbuster mega-movie, then you won't be disappointed.
