I'm usually not the type to play simulation games but I decided to give this a try since I do like animals and it seemed like a good introduction to the idea of simulation/real scenario play. The game is masterfully, skillfully made - so kudos to the game creators. The 3Ds of the animals give it a nice touch but I do feel, as an adult, that it becomes tedious taking care of each animal, like having to clean their cages/area, pet/touch them in order for the animals to feel good, feed them, etc... Kids would probably get more of a kick doing this. I mean, I've got pets in real life and why take the time to have to do that in simulation. But then again, it is supposed to mimic real life, so there you go. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes animals and who likes to be highly involved in doing everything to maintain a simulated zoo. It's fun, addictive and well, cute.

I have the computer game & found the DS game much easier to work with. The scenario building options shows you how to use every option, however, I found trying to keep the animals happy & trying to complete each project within the time allowed difficult. I wanted to completely build the animals area with foilage & shelter, etc. And often found I ran out of time to complete the project, but you deal with it.
The one thing that I really didn't like was every time I completed a project, the next project started you all over again from scratch. I really just wanted to build a zoo & expand - but found this difficult to accomplish.

In this game your building a zoo from scratch and you are on a time limit to build each exhibit. The game is great to play when your away from home. but if you are at home play the cpu version is better with more stuff to do and graphics are much better.

this game is fun to play and is simple to learn, it does have its challenges but isnt all that difficult to master. the game also does have somewaht of a tutorial to learn the game if you are new to the genre. all in all a fun game with different animal attractions.
