Zoo Tycoon for Xbox One has wonderful graphics and beats all the prior related Zoo Tycoon games by far in regards to play, graphics, ease of navigating. The price was spectacular. I'd definitely recommend this to others.

This is a fun game if you love animals. The controls are a little strange and take some getting used to though and the game gets very repetitive.

Not As Good As Zoo Tycoon 2

I was really looking forward to this game on the ONE and was disappointed by it's lack of depth and on its on rails type of gameplay. ZT2 had more depth and more things to do although ZT for the ONE looks really good graphically. Buy it if it's under $20.

I remember playing the old zoo tycoon on PC when I was little. This one is obviously far newer so the graphics are much more detailed, that could either be a good or a bad things depending on the player and what they prefer. The animals look much better than ever before, and the options and variety of freedom is also a great plus to this new game.

Truly Better with Kinect

It's the same Zoo Tycoon, but with a fresh coat of paint and optional Kinect controls. As someone who loved the original series, it was nice to have a new game for the new generation. I was weary about the Kinect features at first as I haven't found a single game that uses the Kinect really well, but its minimal and cute in this title. It adds just enough charm to set it apart from the older games.

Okay, so I immediately downloaded the free DLC that introduced a couple of new animals to the mix, so I feel like I had a more complete version of the game. Having said that, this is a tycoon game done right. The last tycoon game I played was Roller Coaster Tycoon, and the only reason why I decided to pick this game up was because of its $8 price tag (after certificate/GCU discount). It's a shame this game is greatly overlooked because it's actually a lot of fun. This is the closes thing I'll ever get to managing a zoo and the animals inside, so I made sure to put my time into it. The gameplay is fun, although can seem repetitive after awhile, but playing with the animals (etc.) is so much fun, and Kinect actually functions pretty well (for me). I also want to mention that the animals LOOK awesome, so it adds to the experience. For anyone who has been on the fence about this game, and can find it for $19.99 or less, get it. It's a fun tycoon game that's a breath of fresh air from all the shooters.

This is my daughter's game and she really seems to enjoy building the zoo and taking care of the animals. The carts are pretty fun to drive.

The game is pretty unique and fun right away. Until you find yourself playing the 5th or 6th mission, doing just more of the same stuff. The annoying part is that the goals in the game are all time based, so you don't have time to really enjoy all of your parks and the possible creativity you could have unless you play 'free play mode'. The other annoying part of the game is that there are literally 12 different tutorials you need to play in order to understand the game entirely. You are REQUIRED to play these, but if you don't then you will be missing out on a lot of extras in the game. This could have all been summed up in to 2 tutorial sessions, easily. 12 tutorials is a little crazy, especially when they are all about 10 minutes each (or more in some cases).

Interactive game that was useful having a discussion about economics with my kids. Overall the game was fun and interesting to play.
Pros: No violence, educational and family fun... Great game for girls
Cons: Out of campaign mode the game would grow boring after a while, needs a better sound track

This has been a very fun game to enjoy for the whole family. The game gives you many options to create and run your own zoo. My 6 year old plays freemode and really enjoys it. Works great with kinect.
