The modem was easy to setup out the box. It works good I have not had any problems so far. The range is good, my modem is in the back of my house about 30 feet around corners and walls. and I have all bars but one. It can stand, lay flat or mount on the wall. The only thing I would change is the power cord length, it needs to be just a little longer (my opinion)

Decided to buy a modem instead of renting one from TWC...Took it out of the box, connected everything, called TWC and it was up and running 30 minutes later. No problems at all. Using it in a 2000 sq ft two story home. Modem/router is upstairs and wireless signal downstairs is okay. Only minor complaint is that the antennaes are not removable. I was able to swap out the antennae on my previous wireless router with an external one that I mounted higher up on my wall. My signal downstairs is acceptable so it isn't that big of a deal. Picture of modem is also incorrect (picture is of model 5350). This modem/router looks like a normal one with two antennas on the back. See attached picture of box.

Picked it up on Black Friday for $100 -- a good price. Had to replace my old DOC1 cable modem, which according to Comcast, would stop working in January. Installation was easy, less than 20 minutes. Just had to register the new unit with Comcast by phone. Replacing separate cable modem and router with a single unit was easy. To connect my wireless laptop required calling Zoom for technical assistance. The assistance was prompt and excellent. However, when I tried to call again, the waiting was 45 minutes, not toll-free. I'm still waiting for an e-mail answer to my questions. I also connected my iPad wirelessly, and two ethernet computers with no problem. Zoom has good LED status indicators. Modem/Router is convenient small size.

I highly recommend this modem. I have had a Kindle since July of 2013. Because I didn't have wifi set up for my PC at home I wasn't able to use it as a tablet, too. I would go to the coffee shop to download my books. And not to mention that TWC was charging me $6.00/mo to 'lease' their crummy outdated modem. So, I decided that enough was enough with me dragging my feet on this. It's a new year and time to progress, right? First, I went to the TWC website to see what the approved modems were and there was a list with this one on it. Of course, doing my due diligence, I researched it and read all of the pros and cons on this product. After I did that I was sure that living in a small condo that this one would be the right one for me. I got it on sale @ Best Buy (which was a bonus) and when I got home the set up was eazy peezy. All I had to do was to call them after turning in their modem at the local TWC store and then give them the number on the bottom of the unit and zipp it was done. My computer actually runs a little faster on the upload and download (but not by too much) and it never loses the connection. And the best part is I don't have to boot up my computer when I want to check facebook and I don't have to squint at my phone anymore either. (Preventing wrinkles is a New Year's resolution as well). There were only two drawbacks to this. First, I lost my discount with TWC when they found out I was hooking up a wifi, which totally threw a wrench in the whole trying to save money business. Now, as it turns out, I am paying $4/mo more than I was before even with the discount of the leased modem. STINKS! And the only other thing is that the modem is sitting up on top of my oak desk and it puts out a lot of heat. So I put it on a glass plate and put that on a book. :) Happy is only a state of mind :)

So, for the price, this is a great router/modem. Instead of renting a modem/router from the internet provider, we decided to purchase our own. I live in a two story house. The router works great downstairs (where it resides), but sometimes when i'm upstairs, the router has a tendency to not have such a strong signal; however, it has never gone out on me and while a little bit slower, it still works fine. So far I haven't had any security issues, only had it for about 2 months though so far. Overall, satisfied with this purchase.

This was very easy for a beginner to set up. Instructions are easy to follow. I am very happy with this purchase. I purchased this a few months ago on awesome advice from a Best Buy Associate. We usually have 2 cell phones and 2 laptops going at the same time using the wireless internet. I have not had any issues with this product.

The Zoom 5352 is easy to install. I plugged it in, turned it on, waited a few minutes and all my devices were online. No hassle. No drops. No calls to Comcast. Clear signal in all parts of our townhome. I can't speak to this device's longevity because it is a recent installation. I haven't tested the upstream or downstream speeds. I can tell you the price was right and that I appreciate not having to fiddle with cords and cables for both a modem and a router. Recommended.

I used the Zoom to replace my cable provider router that was repeatedly failing. I have not had a single single issue and it has been performing as promised. Set up was extremely simple, essentially plug and play. Speeds are consistently good. For the price, it is an excellent product.

I recently had Internet hooked up and needed a wireless router. This was on the compatible list for my Internet provider. It cost the same as renting out for a year from my company, however I got it during a sale and saved a whole lot. It does what I need it too, provides a fast wireless connection to several devices connected. I can't complain, I've had no problems so far. It does look a bit like its from the early nineties but who cares. I would recommend.

This is a better router than the cable/wireless companies try to lease to you. Great return on investment in a short time. It has a nice interface for setup using a PC - even for rookies. The speed via an Ethernet cable exceeds what the provider guarantees, however when wireless it only provides about 60% speed. Honestly, the 60% is incredibly fast as well.

Works great with xfinity. Easy setup. A lot of bag for your buck with this. I had not heard of this brand before purchasing but did a lot of research and it was definitely worth it. I only use it for one computer and 2 tablets and don't game, so it's great for that setup.

So far so great! Like everyone else, I have had trouble with the connection and having to reset the modems the cable company rents to you for years. All of those problems are gone. With Zoom I have NEVER lost connection. I have NEVER had fluctuation in speed as I did before. Overall, I am very glad to have my own. The router part works great. Strong and fast signals in N speed. No more monthly charges for internet that rarely works as advertised. Now I get the speed all day and night with no bugs. Thank You Best Buy and Zoom!

I bought this when I moved into a home with Xfinity internet. It was very easy to install. Just plugged in the cable input, called the Comcast setup number and within minutes the internet was up and running at great speed. The next test was the reception throughout the house. The modem/router is in an upstairs closet. Even the farthest away room downstairs on the opposite end of the 2500 sq ft. house gets excellent signals. The only issue is that the box gets fairly warm so keep it set on something that permits ventillation to cool.

if you need modem and wireless in one, sometimes it is hard to find the right product that isn't made for a small business, just for the home. Easy to plug in other devices (server, blu-ray, etc.) It works great in a smaller apartment, but if you have a 2500+ sqft house I'd recommend getting an extender in one side of the house. We use it in 1000sqft area and is great, but reception drops a little further out. No complaints though about speed or performance.

Bought to avoid the Time Warner monthly rental charge. Honestly, I tried to buy one of the other better known brands, but they were not available immediately. But looking at the features and price I ended up going with Zoom. So far, it has worked perfectly.
