This is an excellent projector. I did research but Bestbuy does not allow you to test in store. So after reading reviews and returning a few others. This was a sure winner. You can connect to an external speaker - but I did not need to since this is replacing the TV in my room. I hardly watch TV so it is useful for my youtube workouts and watching netflix etc. Slingbox on this sucks as well, so please don't waste your money. The trial period is extremely short, so I was charged without even noticing. The streaming flickers a lot, so it's not worth it. The visuals are quite impressive, I have dark curtains so once the glaring sunlight comes in, I just close them shut and no concerns here. The quality is def what I needed and everyone has seriously given me compliments. It is also quite easy to use because of the touch screen and being able to download apps and browse the internet without some clumsy feel. I gave it one less star due to the annoyance of Casting. It typically does not pick up my phone even with casting on...and it's even more annoying that my phone will cast to my tv somewhere else in the house and not to this. But that's the only downfall. ZTE has hit a home run with this device. I had read about this device previously, and I couldn't wait for it to be available. This is a 2nd generation device, and ZTE has really improved from the first device. The SPro2 is a smart, WiFi capable pico projector. What does that mean? It is an Android (4.4 OS) powered device, which makes it smart. You can download apps directly on to the device (just like your would with your smartphone) because you can connect it to any WiFi network. I stream SlingTV, NetFlix, and GooglePlay content. The SPro2 also has 16GB ROM, so I can download movies on to the device (or business presentations) when there is no WiFi available. Since it is a projector, it has a 200 lumen lamp, and it can throw the projection up to 120". It also projects at 720p quality. At 200 lumens, it has been more than capable to deliver enough brightness for most indoor uses. The SPro2 has JBL speakers integrated into the device. The device fan is very quiet, and with the integrated speakers, the sound is of high quality. I have also connected my Bluetooth Speaker to the SPro2, and that is easy to set up and offers even more sound. The device supports HDMI connectivity. I have used this for business presentations from my laptop. You can also connect a USB drive or SD card for more memory or to access additional content. Lastly, it supports auto focus and auto keystoning, which are great added features. The package contains a carry case, HDMI cable, and a QR code to download a remote control app to your Android or Apple smartphone, The remote control is really cool, and it mirrors your projector display screen for easy navigation and control. I would recommend this device to anyone seeking the lastest in cool innovation. The projector is great. I love the Android interface the ability to connect to any WiFi network. This device has it all!

This is the absolute best thing you could do for your kids and your movie night. I love the fact it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and it works slowly through HDMI. This unit is used when we go outside and project movies want to the garage door. Their software is flawless and his android so you can add a lot more. This is one of the best investments I have ever made

The ZTE SPro is a great little add on for a family movie night in the den or down in the basement. It's 1200 lumens and 110" projection capability make it a great projector for a dark room. I use mine in my basement with additional speakers to have movie night with the kids. The picture is sharp and impressive in a dark room. It is easy to set up and attach to your computer. It even can hook up directly to the internet using wifi. The two draw backs I've discovered are; the need for a dark room or the picture gets washed out in the light. and longevity. I found that after an average of 1-2 hours of use a day the machine began to over heat after just 6 months. Best Buy did a nice job of replacing it for me and I am not having any issues with the new one, yet. So, if the over heating after sustained use was a fluke, I wouldn't have anything bad to say about it. But we'll see. But over all, I like the projector. A crisp and big picture with good sound quality for as small and compact as it is as long as you have an appropriately dark room.

First, it is a very nice device. It runs on android, so it is an android device. You can download apps from Google Play, and even browse the internet. It does have on-screen keyboard like a tablet/smartphone. It is a touchscreen. Surprisingly bright and clear when projecting, with only 200 lumens. Looks like more than that, even when my room light on (night time), still watchable but washed out. But of course its always better with minimal light or no light at all. You will get full brightness when plugged into power. It is a rechargeable batter and play up to 2.5 hours. It is Bluetooth and has wifi. Speaker was great! It has JBL speakers and surprisingly loud, its great in a room presentation. But i would prefer an external speaker for movie watching or probably a large crowd/audience. It connected to my Bluetooth soundbar great. Wifi was good. Now the cons: When plugged in to power while you watch, after a while it blinks (both the indicator and the screen) Search on internet about this and never saw an answer to it. Watching movies from my hard drive, plugged in the back of the device, will popup "play", "resume", "pause", and even the volume will pop out of the screen, without me touching anything, like 2-3 mins intervals. When the "pause" pops out, it pauses the movie. I havent tried from an SD card, nor using HDMI so I do not know if they are good or not. Did try mirror casting from my Samsung Tab A tablet (using a mirror casting app). It did work, but there are some lags, so it may be the device or the signals thru wifi. The fan, its is an ok fan sound, when you are close to it you will hear it. Once the device warms up more especially when the projector is on, the fan turns on. The fan doesn't really bother, it really depends where the device is to project to where you at. No auto zoom so you have to place the device physically to increase/decrease screen size. It does Auto-focus when it is moved to a new place, if it doesn't you can press the home button twice to auto focus. This device might not support iOS (haven't tried thru HDMI) because I did not see a good mirror casting app on appstore. I read a lot of forums about this devices' problems. Read and research this product. Such a high price device to have so may problems, this is the second generation of this product, still have a lot to improve. Good thing I started using it and start seeing problems before my 15 day return expires. I am returning the product.

I love that it has a touch screen and runs Android so I can download YouTube, Hulu and Netflix without having to connect my phone. What I also love is that you can use a USB thumb drive or microSD card to project your videos and files from these media source. What I don't like is that you have to plug it into the outlet if you want full 200 lumens. It only runs on 100 lumens on the battery. Battery runs pretty good so far. I haven't watch a movie yet on it, just a couple of TV shows that were 49 minutes long. The size is a little bigger than other portable projector but not by much.

Good picture, decently bright and a battery for use in areas where power is difficult to obtain.

I would highly recommend this unit. The picture is sharp and the self focusing feature works well. Other reviews complained about the noise it makes, i didn't find that to be an issue. It is actually quite quiet compared to the larger, industrial units.

CAN'T BELIEVE THE INTUITIVE SIMPLICITY OF THIS DEVICE. THE PICTURE QUALITY IS AWESOME. SETUP A BREEZE. TOUCH SCREEN IS EASY TO WORK AND VERY FAMILIAR TO ANYONE USING A SMART PHONE. APPS, ETC. THIS THING IS EVERYTHING AND A BAG OF EXCELLENT CHIPS TO BOOT. WORTH THE MONEY. HD QUALITY PICTURE.

I previously owned the Spro 1 and I couldnt believe the amazing qualityon every level... and versatility ... i actually ended up having to give the first generation to my older brother be ause hes an extremely busy ceo and absolteky wouldn't have the upper hand in business propsals, sales and presentation related work without an spro portable projector. I picked ip the second gen one shortly after and we both consider these staple ekectronics. We take them everywhere and they never fail to impress. Want go ace your power point presentation? Want entertain the entire neighborhood kids at night after a block party?... simply walk outside with a louder bluetooth speaker (harmon kardons the best in case u didnt know haha) and point rhis device at your garage door creating a drive in theater effect. Lets see... the pisdinbilities are endless... vending n festival set ups... if your alive musician why not have your own light show? Go camping and project conservation documentaries on redwood trees. The only thing i wont let you do is gift this to someone who doesnt love it as much as you do. This isnt something you toss to the kids. This is an anachronistic tesseract from a parallel dimension. Im just waiting to wake up... from this dream. But its still there! I feel blessed.

The projector has a Clear picture and focuses quickly. It is also easy to use. We have used it to project movies for the family. We are also pleased with the sound. No regrets purchasing this item.

The projector offers clear images and good speakers. I connected to external Bluetooth speakers to improve sound. Very easy to manage and download Apps for better use.

I cant say enough about this projector. I have had it for about 6 months now and have used it in my basement for movies and my wife and I have used it teaching seminars. My only gripe is that I wish it was a little brighter. The 700 lumens output is enough for a dark or nearly dark room but we do have to dim the lights near the screen when giving seminars. But it works. We are able to give a seminar to a room full of people and are able to see the screen just by dimming the lights a little and not having to make it a pitch black room. You can simply plug a mouse in to teach classes and use it like a computer or give tutorials. The picture is also a great picture, no its not a full HD picture but for what the projector is and how small it is you couldn't ask for better and is very impressive. I do also have a full 1080p HD projector in the basement "I wanted a dedicated projector down there after owning the ZTE" and the picture is very comparable. At times I do have to trigger the autofocus to get the best picture possible but more often than not it works flawlessly. The speakers are loud enough and the battery will last as long as advertised. If you're looking for a multipurpose projector you will not find anything better.

Purchased this for business travel - it's small and VERY easy to use. HDMI hook (use the cord provided for best picture). Speakers also work GREAT!

I love love love this little projector. I love that the fan is quiet. I love that I can stream from Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. I love the Autofocus. I love the picture quality. I love how small it is, I love that I can use my phone (Samsung Note 4) as the remote and I love that I can use Miracast to stream directly from my phone. I love that it is wireless and love the convenience of different ways to connect (USB, HD, SD Card). I love that it uses/is an Android OS. I love how ginormous the picture can get, in fact I usually find that the picture is bigger than the wall or backdrop that I am using. I can project super close or 20 feet away (and I don't even have to have total darkness. Obviously the darker the better but I never use it in complete darkness and it is just fine). I use it all the time, mostly for presentations and streaming indoors. The sound quality is great for indoor use in a smaller setting. For a larger setting or outdoors you are going to need to connect to a speaker but with Bluetooth no problem. Amazing little machine. Everyone and I mean everyone always is fascinated by it and wants one.

I purchased this to use in small meetings and teaching and to replace a full size projector. I must say I'm really impressed! I've used in in small conference rooms and a medium size class (40 people, approx 30' X 20') room with very good success. The colors are sharp with good definition and with very good contrast. The projector supports remote control via a downloadable app. I've used both the iPhone (iPhone 6) and Android (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) versions and they work great. There was a bit of operator error when I first tried to connect. I've used BlueTooth to connect it to my Bose SoundLinkMini and that works great for small room audio. The built in speaker does not have the volume for a classroom. I have not tried the Mriacast feature. The USB and HDMI work great. It is not a replacement for a projector for a large room but then it isn't advertised as such. I'm going to replace our second projector with another one of these.

I've been waiting for a portable, rechargeable and small projector for a long time now. The auto focus is great. The sound is very loud and clear.

The touch screen and Android work great. Very bright both battery and plugged in. Better plugged in. Travel with the power block and cords make it larger then expected but compared to other projectors i've used it's worth it.
