good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it does the job that is intented to do, it would have been a better tool if it would have its own remote in steed of having to down load a program

marginal performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The projector work but has allot of problem such as stopping in the middle of the video which are loaded onto the projector. The wireless interface drops frequently which can be a pain. If it is connected thru USB or HDMI it works fine but I must sa that this smart projector is not that smart.

Old Android Hack
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this projector for years and have found that the lack of compatibility for most apps is frustrating and causes it to crash. However you can go to the settings and set the input to HDMI and plug in your fire stick or Roku or Apple TV and voila updated operating system on the projector. Android update not needed

Great projector - and it's Android!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We just wanted to watch TV in bed but there wasn't a good place in the room to put a TV. A small portable projector would be perfect but they all seemed to have very low lumens and resolution. We're pretty happy to have found the SPRO 2. Besides a rich 720P resolution it packs a strong 200 lumens. Even with a light on in the bedroom the picture is perfect. The speaker is suitable since we are so close to the projector. We hooked it up the Directv Wireless Genie and now have all the content you could ask for. Then it got fun! Since it's an android device you can download apps. We have Plex, Slingbox, YouTube and more. Then it got more fun! Because it has great battery life and the Slingbox app I can watch the news in the shower. We keep finding fun ways to use it. Like most geeks I really love a device with a dozen different ways to hook it up and manipulate it. For the downside, the apps built for it are unreliable. I'm an uber geek but half the time the android remote control just won't connect. Since it's Android you can also cast from almost anything. I send content from my tablet and read books off the ceiling. Same problem though - random disconnects. We have a great network and live farm from other homes so it's instability in the apps. If the apps were more stable it would be a solid 5 stars. We love this thing and would buy it again.

Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It really impressed me the quality. This is just taking the home theater with you all the time. Android system works great and bunch of applications as in your tablet or phone you can download and use. The best of all portable projectors . Price is worth every penny....

Versatile and Mobile
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SPRO2 makes watching movies on Netflix, live-stream DirecTV, and ESPN Watch during business trips and at home easy and enjoyable. Connecting a PS4 via HDMI to the projector will limit you to the speakers that are on the projector, only. To bypass this fault you will need to connect your PS4 to your home theater stereo receiver to its own dedicated HDMI "in" input, then use the receiver's video HDMI "out" port to attach to the projector. You will then be able to use your home entertainment audio for sound and this projector for video. The 720P resolution is good; but if you try to play PS4 games, or movies and live-steam, on an entire wall of a room, the picture can get fuzzy. Bottom-line: For optimal projection quality this projector requires a darker room and manage the image size to fit your needs. Depending on your internet download rate live-streaming is pretty flawless. The projector is mobile and lightweight and can accompany you in any room in the house that you need to live-stream and on any business trip without having to carry a large projector. I purchased an inexpensive BOSE bluetooth speaker (Soundlink) to provide better amplification of sound because the built in speakers can be weak if you are projecting for a group. Color "warmness" can be adjusted and auto-keystone, and auto-focus work great. The $100 off at Christmas "sale" makes the projector very affordable. Great product! I haven't tried using the USB yet so I'm not able to review that feature for this forum.

Very versatile and great performance!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing little projector, it has no problem projecting 80" or more in a dimly lit room and is easily usable in a lit room on a smaller screen. The connectivity of this device is amazing, you can use your smartphone as a remote or mirror the image on your phone to the screen. I downloaded the Netflix app from the google play store and it performed nicely. Speakers work well for a unit of this size. It is hard to imagine purchasing another projector when you can have one that also is controlled by a convenient touch screen and has tablet capability in it's own right. A very pleasant surprise!

Don't expect it to last.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had this device 13 months and finally paid it off. We have absolutely LOVED this projector and have recommended it to many people but.....we will have to reconsider that recommendation. My husband travels a lot with his job and we rarely watch TV so this is used less than once a week. Just this evening we noticed that it would black out with sound or movement - a stationary picture stayed just fine. I was just told by Live Chat directly with the company that it would cost us an additional $149 to send the device in and have it fixed. If a $500 device cannot be counted on to work, when being used less than once a week, for more than a year....it's just not worth it, no matter how cool the features are.
