It really does make voices clear and easy to understand. Works as advertised. Prior to getting it, voices were often next to impossible to understand with a large tv mounted on the high side above a fireplace.

Makes a big difference particularly if hard of hearing. The voices sound clearer and are easier to distinguish.

My Mom was having problems watching TV with her new hearing aids, so my sister and I bought this for her as an early Mother's Day present. It was extremely easy to set up. Mom absolutely loves it and my sister and I love going into Mom's house and not having the TV blaring.

The ZVOX sound bar does the job for my elderly, nearly deaf mother. It separates the background noise, music, applause, etc., from the voice/announcer and makes it possible to lower the volume to an almost-comfortable level for the non-impaired hearer. We are very pleased with the ZVOX sound bar.

We can hear the dialog, not the over powering music. At least we don't have to raise and lower volume all the time.

If you have a hearing problem or not, this sound bar is a great one. It is small but mighty. It blends in and easy to work with.

So far my wife says she can now understand dialog. Sometimes sound goes bad. Does the machine need a reboot? I installed an optical splitter so when sound goes bad I mute the AccuVoice and turn on the old 5.1 entertainment center. After a while I can go back to new AccuVoice. I really should ask the manufacturer what gives?

My husband has been using closed-captioning for years. So when we bought our new TV recently, we decided to splurge on a sound bar. Our daughter is deaf in one ear so we wanted something that could be synced to her hearing aid. This one fit the bill! And with the great sound, my husband has stopped using closed-caption!

we are seniors. most times my husband has to have the tv volume loud trying to hear the conversations. flat screen tvs have the speakers in the back and this is one of the reasons. but with this sound bar, it has hearing aid technology, so the conversation is more clear and we don't have to have the volume as loud.

I’n very Impressed! The speaker sounds Great! I got this to go in my travel trailer. I have a very hard time hearing the voices on TV over the Air Conditioner. This completely solved my problem. I will probably buy another one to go in the house.

I can understand the dialog of shows much better now with the accuvoice with the volume at a decent level. I had a regular sound bar however it just amplified the background noise more. This unit brings out the voices and dims the background and does so without ruining the effect of the show. Great product.

We have an Accuvoice on all of our televisions - if someone in your house wears hearing aids or has trouble hearing voices over other sounds - this thing is a miracle! It separates the voice from the rest of the sounds - it is just amazing.

I use a video streaming service and connected my Mac Mini's headphone port to the AccuVoice 2000 via a 3.5 mm stereo jack cable. The volume and clarity of dialogue was much better than just using a HDMI cable to the TV. I would consider purchasing the model with a subwoofer next time,

We wanted a sound bar that would clear the voices from our tv. The guy that helped us knew what we wanted. He showed us how it worked by taking us in a room setup with several bars. He was right on as it demoed the 25 ft sound we should expect. Not only that it was on sale too. We were impressed.

Great sound system especially for people with hearing problems. Easy to connect to TV and set-up audio options. Used with headphones makes speech even easier to understand and saves others from too loud sound volume. A lot less expensive compared to sound bars with less features.

The sound quality for voices and music is very sharp and clear and even. We didn't want a sub woofer and the ZVOX had the best sound quality of all the sound bars we listened too. Great value for around $200.

My husband and I could not hear the whispering and low talk in movies we were watching on movie channels, Netflix etc. So I saw this advertised on one of the shopping channels and decided to try it. It's not perfect but it's much better than it was!!!!! I would buy this product again!
