Quiet and runs less
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Replaced my 13 year old unit. The door was sagging and seals were no longer proper. It is getting more difficult to find top freezer models and located this Open Box unit at a nearby store. It had an icemaker. I didn't have much luck with my previous unit with an icemaker and found the same with this unit. It occurred to me that it was unlikely a problem with both, so I replaced the valve and the problems went away. I bought a thermometer and tested both upper and lower units and adjusted the settings. It is quieter than my previous model and seems to run less, which should be expected. Also I like the door shelves. They run along the entire door width rather than sections.

||Posted .Lots of room but not alot of adjustability. Fridge is very deep so had to buy bins for my condiments so they didn't get lost in the back of the fridge. Only s slot adjustments for the shelves.

Good refrigerator for limited space
||Posted .Had to make a search to find a quality fridge that would fit in my cabinet space and still have some more than basic features and appearance. This model has good internal layout, nice led lighting in both fridge and freezer sections and independent temperature controls for both freezer and fridge. The black stainless is a sharp look. Included ice maker at no additional charge was a nice bonus. Geek squad installation was flawless. If you need a smaller unit with more than just basic features give this one a look.

Broken wire and stopped working
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed.A year and a half old and control panel quit working and it is no longer under warranty. Found that the wire between the freezer door and control panel was broken. Contacted Samsung and it is past one year so no longer under warranty. The repair man told me I either need a new freezer door and control panel, or buy a new fridge...haven't even finished paying for this one. I had the door reversed during installation so I am wondering it if was done improperly causing the wire to break. So disappointed....

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Excellent fridge, despite being one of the only models available at a reputable retailer when we needed it, this ended up being a great replacement fridge/freezer. Keeps everything very cold, and a very nice looking fridge, too.

- A:Answer Yes it is. I purchased it this weekend and when in the store, I saw some reviews where folks mentioned the fridge being a finger-print magnet. I imagine they were referring to the regular stainless steel one because I ran my fingers all over the front of the display unit and I couldn't get a single smudge to show.

Q: QuestionJust bought this Samsung unit and so far very happy with performance. Question on the ice maker - Does the ice maker have a sensor that tells it not to make more ice cubes when bucket is full? On my prior fridge there was a lever to stop the ice maker.
