For a final season, SANCTUARY goes out with a bang (literally and figuratively), with allegiances questioned, the cast unsure who has its back (or who wants to put a knife in it), and the Sanctuary Project's survival in doubt, hinging on whether or not Helen/Will/Henry et al can change with the times. And it wraps things up in such a way that--even in the face of cancellation--it's open-ended enough that it represents a new direction for the cast, but doesn't leave the audience in too much suspense. Even so, nothing changes the fact that no more TV adventures are forthcoming, which is a shame.
