Scosche PBJ700 portable jump pack.

I added the Scosche PBJQC quick connector to the motorcycle battery. It makes it easier to access. Hopefully I won’t have to use it again. Well for my bikes or cars anyways. I’ve attached a few photos showing the access of the quick connect.

I have used it for a variety of vehicles. From 4 cylinder compact cars to 6 cylinder Jeeps to 8 cylinder trucks, this has started them all! I like the quality of the case and how neatly everything fits into it. I have a Cobra branded device similar to this but the case and unit is bulkier. This case will fit neatly under the seat, in most center consoles and possibly in some glove boxes. You can also use it to charge a device via USB and it has a flashlight.

Instead of using AAA, I wanted to try this device and see if it could be something to rely on in the future. To my amazement and pleasant surprise, I bought one of these at Best Buy, walked about 10-15 minutes to my car, put the cables in the jumpstart battery, put the ends of the cables onto my car battery and pushed the button to charge my car's battery. Got in my car and started it with relative ease. Out of the box, the battery charger was at 80% to 90% full. I hope it works as well for you as it did for me.

Q: QuestionAre there longer cables available for this battery pack? My BMW X5 has charging ports rather than using the battery to jump start . The cables seem too short to connect to the ports.
