Fantastic sounding album with a flawed pressing
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great album and group. Standout songs are: Asking for a Friend, Violent Delights, How Not to Drown, and Nightmares. The quality of the vinyl pressing is very good for the most part. The sound is on the bright side which sounded fine to me, but your preference may differ. I had to take a star off because the second half of How not to drown got very crackly and distorted. I thought maybe I had a damaged copy, so I ordered another copy, but the replacement had the same defect in the exact same spot, so it's an inherent problem with the pressing. Ultimately, the rest of the album sounds really good so I kept it, despite the one bad spot. The included digital download is CD quality WAV files (much appreciated). My download code didn't work at first, but support was quick to resolve the problem.
