Membership benefits
Can My Best Buy™ members use their membership benefits on Marketplace orders?
No. Membership benefits, such as free shipping or extended returns, do not apply to Marketplace purchases.
How do my membership benefits work with Best Buy Marketplace Products (Products sold by 3rd-party sellers on BestBuy.com)?
Best Buy Marketplace Products are not eligible for all member benefits, such as free shipping and extended returns. However, other member benefits, like rewards-based offers, are available for Best Buy Marketplace Products.
As a My Best Buy Total™ member, can I use my repair discount on a product I purchased from a Marketplace Seller?
My Best Buy Total™ members can enjoy 20% off repair services, no matter where the product was purchased.
As a My Best Buy Plus™ or My Best Buy Total™ member, can I use my free 2-day shipping benefit on a product I purchased from a Best Buy Marketplace?
No. Members will not receive free 2-day shipping on Best Buy Marketplace items. Sellers have their own shipping costs and timing.
As a My Best Buy Total™ member, can I use my tech support benefit on a product I purchased from a Best Buy Marketplace Seller?
Yes. Products purchased from Best Buy, a Best Buy Marketplace Seller or another retailer, before or after you began your My Best Buy Total™ membership, are eligible for 24/7 tech support while you are an active member.
As a My Best Buy Total™ member, are Best Buy Marketplace Products covered under the product protection benefit?
The My Best Buy Total™ member product protection benefit of either Best Buy Protection or AppleCare+ is only available on most new Products that are purchased where Best Buy is the seller. Best Buy Marketplace Sellers are excluded.
Pricing
Can Best Buy Marketplace items be price matched?
Best Buy Marketplace items are not eligible for Best Buy's Price Match Guarantee through Best Buy stores or BestBuy.com. Best Buy items cannot be price matched to Best Buy Marketplace listings.
Are Best Buy Marketplace Products included within Best Buy sales?
At this time, Best Buy Marketplace Products are only included in select sales, events, Deal of the Day or other promotional events.
Are Best Buy Marketplace Products included in Spend and Get promotions?
Yes. All customers, including My Best Buy Plus™, My Best Buy Total™ members and Best Buy Credit Cardholders, can earn and redeem rewards on Best Buy Marketplace Products (i.e., My Best Buy™ bonus reward promotions). There are no additional restrictions for Marketplace.
Orders and fulfillment
What payment types can I use for Best Buy Marketplace orders?
Purchases can be made with all forms of tender accepted at BestBuy.com or with a Virtual Sales Agent.
What are the fulfillment options for Best Buy Marketplace orders?
Shipment or delivery to a home or business only. Store Pickup, Curbside Pickup, Locker Pickup or alternate pickup locations are not available for Best Buy Marketplace Products.
How do I cancel a Best Buy Marketplace order?
If the order was placed less than 30 minutes ago and a cancel button is available on the Order Details page, you can cancel it.
Are Best Buy Marketplace Products available for same-day delivery?
No. Best Buy Marketplace Products are available for other types of shipping or delivery to the address you provide at checkout.
How much does shipping cost for a Best Buy Marketplace Product shipped and sold by a Best Buy Marketplace Seller?
The shipping cost is determined by the Best Buy Marketplace Seller. These costs will vary by Best Buy Marketplace Product and Best Buy Marketplace Seller.
Warranty and protection plans
Do Best Buy Marketplace items have a manufacturer's warranty?
Yes. The manufacturer's warranty period may differ depending on the manufacturer.
Can I purchase Geek Squad® Protection or Best Buy Protection plans for Best Buy Marketplace items?
No. Best Buy Marketplace Products are not eligible for Geek Squad® Protection, Best Buy Protection, AppleCare+ or SamsungCare+ plans.
Returns
What is the return policy?
Best Buy Marketplace Products, unless otherwise noted, have the same return policy as all other Products sold from Best Buy. They are excluded from the My Best Buy Plus™ and My Best Buy Total™ extended return member benefits.
When does the return policy begin for my Best Buy Marketplace order?
The return policy countdown starts when the product is delivered.
Where can I return my Best Buy Marketplace order?
Refer to your order details for more information on how to return a Best Buy Marketplace order. This will also include whether returns are available in-store and/or online only.
Will I receive a message at the time of purchase to keep the original packaging in case I need to return the item?
Our Return and Exchange Promise reads: “Gather the purchases you want to return, along with the original contents and packaging. Restocking fees, nonreturnable limitations and all other return restrictions apply on returns of Marketplace Products.”
