Aquanox Deep Descent

Although the game is set in a fictional universe, it's inspired by actual events from World War II. The game takes place on the planet Aqua, which is mostly covered by water. The planet is inhabited by two major factions: the Axis powers-inspired Empire and the Allied powers-inspired Federation. Both sides have access to advanced technology, but their fleets are composed of submarines and battleships instead of aircraft carriers and fighter jets.
