Why are instant cameras popular for weddings?

Instant cameras let guests capture candid moments and create physical photos they can enjoy right away. They also add an interactive element to receptions, guestbooks and photo displays.

How can I use an instant camera at a wedding?

Place an instant camera near the guestbook with extra film and simple instructions. Guests can take photos, write messages on the prints and add them to an album or display them on a memory wall.

What features should I look for in a wedding instant camera?

Helpful features include a built-in flash for indoor venues, simple controls for guests, a self-timer for group photos and a compact design that is easy to place on a reception table.

Can wedding guests create a guestbook with an instant camera?

Yes. Guests can take instant photos and attach them to blank pages alongside written messages. Adhesive corners, photo-safe tape or a guestbook designed for instant prints can help organize the pages.

Can instant cameras capture wedding photos in different lighting conditions?

Many instant cameras include a built-in flash and exposure controls to help capture moments in settings such as dim reception halls, outdoor ceremonies and brighter daytime celebrations. Check the camera’s features to find the best fit for the venue.
