Limited collectable picture disc LP pressing in die-cut sleeve. The picture disc features Charlie Brown's face on Side A, and Lucy's face on Side B. Peanuts' Greatest Hits features 12 of the most memorable recordings from the beloved animated Peanuts television specials, all with the sophisticated, yet accessible jazz styling's of the Vince Guaraldi Trio. Includes such classics as 'Linus and Lucy, Christmas is Coming' and 'Little Birdie.' San Francisco-based jazz musician Vince Guaraldi had already established himself as a pianist and composer, first with Cal Tjader and then as a leader of his own group, when producer Lee Mendelson came knocking. Mendelson had been enchanted by Guaraldi's 1963 surprise hit single, InchCast Your Fate to the Wind,Inch and asked him to write some original music for a documentary to be entitled A Boy Named Charlie Brown. Though the program didn't air at the time, Guaraldi's music so perfectly captured the mood and character of Peanuts, that he was invited to write the soundtrack for the first Peanuts special that did air, 1965's landmark A Charlie Brown Christmas. Double vinyl LP pressing. The Very Best of Enya is the second greatest hits album by the Irish singer, songwriter and musician Enya. It was released in November 2009. After promoting her previous studio album And Winter Came... (2008), Warner Music asked Enya to a new compilation of her favorite songs of her career, and chose a selection with her longtime collaborators, producer and arranger Nicky Ryan and his wife, lyricist Roma Ryan. The album peaked at #32 on the UK Albums Chart and #55 on the Billboard 200 in the United States. It spent a total of 56 weeks at number one on the Billboard New Age Albums chart. Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression.
