Sol Republic - RELAYS Earbud Headphones - Lemon Lime

I bought these headphones after being severely disappointed with a pair of Monster i-sport headphones failing miserably. I didn't want to spend that kind of money again, only to be let down....again. These Sol headphones feel more durable than the Monsters did. They also fit my ear more comfortably. I don't particularly like my music so bass heavy that it drowns out the rest of the music, and these headphones hit the mark for me on that. When I have my iPod's equalizer set to flat, the music sounds pleasant and natural. The vocals are clear, the highs are crisp, and the lows are balanced. I recommend these headphones for someone who is active and wants a great sounding headphone without the bass being overwhelming.

I bought these headphones and a pair of bluetooth Jaybirds Bluebuds X around 4 months ago and have been very pleased with both sets of headphones. The Jaybirds are wireless and have great sound, but I haven't gotten them to fit me well enough yet to keep them in my ears all the time during yard work, lifting weights, and running. The Sol Republic Relays are wired headphones, but they have a perfect snug fit, so they are my headphone of choice for doing yard work and working out. They also have great sound and pretty impressive bass.

I have a hard time finding headphones that stay in my ears in general, especially when I'm active, but these have not fallen out yet! I run, row, lift weights & do body weight exercises & all of these I've been able to do with these headphones in. And I am a big fan of the SOL Republic sound! This is my 3rd pair of their headphones (all different styles) and for the price, I think they sound best! The only reason I didn't give these the 5th star is that they tend to hurt my ears after wearing for a while. I don't really notice until I take them out & realize my ears are sore. But if that's the price I pay for headphones that stay in & sound good, I'll take it!

I've tried 4 different kinds of sports headphones from Best Buy, and have been very glad for the extended warranty and the exchange policy. Many pairs in the past have failed after about a year, from sweat I imagine. I haven't had these long enough to tell. But they do fit better in my average male ears than others, which have had uncomfortable inserts, or overly heavy and too short cords, or no mike. The sound quality on the mike seems to be very poor, according to my conversational partners, and the switch is difficult to operate. But so far they work, don't bounce, and don't tangle too much.

I have a pair of sol republic tracks hd headphones and they are the best headphones I have ever had. I also have the sol republic deck that I love as much. I renain faithful to sol republic because of the sound quality of their products. These headphones were a let down in the sense that they didn't sound any better than thirty dollar one ear headphones. They do stay in my ear better than any other in ear headphones I have ever had, but I don't know if it's worth the extra money. Overall they are very good headphones but not necessarily worth the price.

I've been looking for earbuds that not only sound good, but stays on even when i'm intensely working out. This is indeed one that can do it. Sadly I lost it. So I'm saving up to get a new pair because it definitely is that good. Many people comment about how it isolates sound too much, that they can't hear background noises that might be crucial when you're running on the road. I went around with that by using ear tips smaller than my real size. Good thing that the box comes with different sized ear tips, and Sol Republic owners can get lifetime ear tip replacements from their website. Even with smaller ear tips, the ear buds still stay put. The sound difference does not suffer as much. My only complaint is its weirdly placed clip, which is not movable. But that doesn't bother me much.

I have problems with earbuds usually falling out of my ear (even with using the custom sizes) but the Sol Republic Relays not only stays put, but gives great deep sounds. It does accentuate the bass side of things, and so your highs are sacrificed a bit, but when working out the drive of the bass is actually really nice. They are my favorite pair to use when working out.

The sound quality was great even before adjusting the equalizer settings. After doing so, they sounded amazing, one of the best I ever had. Sadly, I did not posess them for very long; having left them on the couch, my cousin sat on them, crushing one of the buds. Boasting such quality, one would think the company would then focus on durability, but I understand that the primary goal was sound quality, not withstanding 150lbs+ of human rear.
