Star Trek from a different point of view
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Star Trek: the Next Generation from a different vector. This is comedy from the creators of “Rick and Marty.” Most principal characters are ensigns, not bridge crew. They live in a barracks with much less privacy. All are looking for a Star Fleet career. Some hope for promotion. They literally keep the ship running. One is the daughter of the ship’s captain. This is a comedy whose core is true to Star Trek’s central themes. Familiar and unfamiliar alien species are present in every episode. The ship’s chief medical officer is from the same feline species as Lieutenant M’Riss in the original cartoons, but more irascible than Bones. Ferengi are Ferengi, but not as graspingly capitalistic. Klingons are Klingons, but the central character in one episode is a laughably carousing drunk. Q appears in one episode and complains that Picard only talks about Shakespeare and wine. But this is still Star Trek. The uniforms are Star Fleet. The starship is obviously Star Fleet, just a new design. Will Riker is the familiar Will Riker. Troi is Troi. Dramatic situations occur amidst the comedy. Their conclusions follow Star Fleet rules and traditions. And as explained in the specials accompanying each episode, “Star Trek Below Decks” is canon.

A Lot of Fun!
||Posted .Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This was fun! I'm an old "Trekkie" from WAY back... so I remember watching the Original Series (and the Animated Series) back in the day... as well as all the others. This one had serious moments... but was full of fast-paced humor and action, too.

Laughter Beyond the Stars
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed. All I can say is "Great Writing" and so much fun to watch. This is one of the best comedy of Star Trek that I have a hard time trying not to laugh. The cast is perfect that I can't find one member that I would not like. Definitely worth watching again and again.

Great Star Trek Animated Series!
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I love Star Trek! This series, from the same creator as Solar Opposites, was a total surprise in the direction of the humor and its focus of the crew more so than the officers. This show reminds me of the TNG episode "Lower Decks" if it was animated and made into a comedy!

Star Trek winner
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. As a huge Star Trek fan I was hesitant about this series. I thought it would just be a lot of cheap shots at the Star Trek universe. I was wrong! The stories although full of humor and laughs, stay true to Star Trek and reminds me of the way Star Trek used to be before Discovery.

It’s a given for Star Trek fans
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. It’s nice to have the Blu Ray with all of the extras. I wasn’t a huge fan of the show, but I am a big Star Trek fan. The price was great with free shipping so it was well worth it for me. I haven’t watched everything yet, but so far, I really like it.
