Not so politically correct

Its good just not a as good as the first one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.John (Mark Wahlberg) and the foul-mouthed teddy bear (voiced by Seth MacFarlane, who also directs) return for a sequel. It’s been about three years since the successful original was released, and there are plenty of jokes and references throughout “Ted 2,” but the new film seems in desperate need of a story that these characters deserve. As “Ted 2” opens, MacFarlane’s teddy bear marries Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth). And he wants to have a baby! In spite of the interesting opening, however, the filmmakers fail to develop the story that gets weaker as the film goes on, with a drawn-out story about Ted’s legal battle. Giovanni Ribisi reprises the role of a creepy kidnapper, but his character is simply unnecessary. “Ted 2” MacFarlane’s jokes are as crude and politically incorrect as in the original, but not as funny as before, partly because what made the first “Ted” unique is missing. It is not just about the novelty of talking teddy bear, but the friendship between him and Wahlberg’s character. As Mila Kunis refused to return, Amanda Seyfried appears as a new girlfriend for Mark Wahlberg’s character John. Seyfried is not bad. The problem is, like big names such as Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson who also appear here, her screen time is too brief. After all, though pretty entraining, “Ted 2” fails to provide a drama that the main characters “thunder buddies” really need.

TED 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ted 2 is a wildly fun film that runs a bit too long for its own good, but the core dynamics -- the bond between John and Ted, the effortlessness with which they interact (thanks to great digital and voice work), and the chemistry they share in their joke telling -- remain the series' strength. The plot is right out of Star Trek but gets the movie where it needs to go. For such a simple idea and generally simple execution, it all works very well and the result, with Ted 2, is one of the funniest movies of 2015. Universal's Blu-ray release of Ted 2 features standout video and audio. An average allotment of extras are included. Highly recommended.

If At First You Don't Succeed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first TED was a surprisingly funny and touching film, it had heart hidden under a rather rough exterior of crude comedy. The 2nd film is honestly more of the same with a tad more crude humor sprinkled in. The dynamic of Mark Wahlberg and his fluffy co-star is strong as ever. New comer Amanda Seyfried is a joy to watch and brings a lot to the table which is fortunate as Mila Kunis' is sorely missed. All in all, this is a sequel that only manages to be as good as the original - but also manages to bring something new and fresh to the table. If you're a fan of that film, this is a must, if not - well, you know this one won't be your cup of tea either.

If you like Ted the 1st time; you'll enjoy this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a Mark Wahlberg fan and love his comedies. That said I'll be biased in my review. The 2 buddies are still together and trying to fight for Ted's right to be a person. The trials and tribulations these two go thru is hilarious. It's not going to win an Oscar but I love movies that make me laugh at completely stupid schtick. And this fits the bill. I wouldn't recommend watching it with kids since the language can be pretty lewd at times. Still funny as heck!!!

Better than expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the saw Seth McFarlane's productions had been going and Mila Kunis not in the sequel, I was a bit leery about seeing Ted 2 (and the trailers did not help, either), but after viewing the movie, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, having Kunis be absent and the movie's explanation felt strange, but overall, I had a good time and some good laughts.

It was great to see a second Ted movie, very good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first Ted movie was hilarious and lots of times a continuation of a movie series is not very good, not the case here. Ted is such a lovable character it was wonderful too see him again doing and saying funny things. If you haven't seen either the first or this movie you need to put it on your to do list. The language is risqué and is for people who don't mind that type language but it is absolutely funny.
