This movie is really chilling, if you like gore this is the movie for you. If not, it will definitely scar you for life.

I have never seen a movie anything like this before, I really was surprised by this movie and I really liked it. I've recommended it to a few people already. There are several actors in it you will recognize when you see them and it's well acted. The movie really makes you think about people and psychology. Keep in mind though, there are several intense and very explicit violent scenes.
I loved this movie. I first heard about it as a recommendation on Red Letter Media from Jay Bauman. Yes, it is as good as he said it was. I really enjoyed it. Great concept, excellent gore effects (but not a gore-fest, it's not overdone), great acting, great characters, and some great twists. This is a fun movie to watch and you won't be disappointed. Give this one a chance and watch it. Go watch Red Letter Media and see what they have to say about it, they are spot-on with this one. Really good.
The concept for The Belko Experiment is a strong one and it has some good actors giving decent performances, but it isn’t quite all it could be. It feels like it never decided what it wants to be so it sticks its toe in the waters of humor and social commentary, it just doesn’t dive into either one enough to really have an identity.
The big positive is that despite the violence there is a hidden soul of an optimistic outlook as only a small number of characters jump to murder and the few that turn to violence take a long time to get there or only do so in self-defense or to survive.
I hope this gets a second chance to flesh things out, The Purge was a good concept with a weak first film that turned it around, Belko has that potential.
Well I got the feeling that this movie would be just okay, but I was surprised at how well put together this movie was. It gave great character development in short periods of time, and I must say there is a decent amount of thought that went into each character, even characters in the movie for little screen time seemed to have layered development. You actually want a lot of these people to live. The look of this movie is great and the soundtrack is phenomenal. I would recommend everyone to watch.
After hearing some reviews for this movie I decided to check it out, was expecting it to be a bit different compared to other movies of its type and for the most part it was. Plenty of violence in this one to say the least which when you consider that the only way out is to kill everyone else, well, kind of goes with the territory. Overall it was a decent movie if you are into these type of movies.
Blind purchased this blu-ray on sale. I have always been a fan of survival genre, less so the battle royale genre. The film itself was fairly straightforward, and they did a decent job in getting you to care about several characters. There is a bit of mythology-building too, which I appreciate (but didn't need). Disc has a few basic bonus features. No digital copy.
