Based on the graphic novel by James O'Barr, this fantasy follows Eric Draven (Brandon Lee), a rock musician who is murdered along with his fiancée, Shelly (Sofia Shinas), by a group of marauding thugs who terrorize the decaying city in which they live. One year to the day after his death (which happens to be Devil's Night), a mystical crow appears at Eric's grave; Eric rises from the dead and, with the bird as his guide, goes on a mission to avenge himself against Top Dollar (Michael Wincott), the leader of the gang who killed him. Star Brandon Lee was killed while filming a scene in which he was shot with a shell from an improperly cleaned gun that was supposed to be loaded with blanks. Like his father, martial arts superstar Bruce Lee, Brandon was fated to enjoy his greatest popular success after his premature death.~Mark Deming
I enjoy shopping at Best Buy they have some really good deals but you need to train your employees better because I have been told I would be able to do a few things in the store and then have made special trips to the store in order to get those things done and I get told by another employee that I can't do what I needed in the store!

So glad to be able to own the Blu-ray and digital copy of this film. I happened to watch it on TV one random day and never forgot it.
They better not remake, it’s perfect the way it is

What can I say about this film that hasn't already been stated by other reviewers? This movie is a must see for anyone with the slightest interest in an 'anti-hero' superhero. The movie is dark and haunting, but very well paced and directed. I think it's impossible to watch it without wondering what Brandon Lee could have brought us if not for the tragic accident. He makes his character come alive and believable, which given the story-line and another actor, could easily have become satire.
A fun cult classic that tells the story of a slain musician who comes back from the dead to avenge his and his girlfriend's death. The late Brandon Lee, son of the late Bruce Lee, stars as Eric Draven, a revenant determined to right what has been set wrong. Fans of movies like Tim Burton's "Batman" and "Sin City" should get this movie. It also has a killer soundtrack. Total recommendation.
