Cold Ice Hot Romance.
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. You're typical opposites attract movie. Doug Dorsey was a surefire bet to be the next Bobby Hull or Gordy Howe in the NHL until a cheap shot during an Olympic game. Prior to the match he has a brief encounter with Kate Moseley. Determined to get to the NHL Doug is doing everything possible to keep his dream alive. Kate on the other hand after her tragic fall during her doubles routine is looking for another partner. In the meantime she has become such a Diva she make Mariah Carey tame. Finally Kate's skating coach approaches Doug. Thus begins a classic love hate relationship. This movie is in my top ten underrated gems.

Toe pick!
||Posted .The Cutting Edge is a great little romantic comedy that stars Moira Kelly as an Olympic skater and D.B. Sweeney (who, at the time wasn't yet type cast as a nasty character) as an Olympic hockey player, whose unlikely alliance as a couples figure skaters provides plenty of laughs and the ever quotable "Toe pick!" There aren't very many romantic comedies that are worth your time... (When Harry Met Sally is the only one that comes to mind) but this one is a keeper! Picture and audio quality are decent, just don't expect the video to look like the latest blockbuster and you'll be happy. There is one bonus feature plus the theatrical trailer.

Fun movie with skating theme (bargain bin item)
||Posted .Figure skater with attitude teams with hockey player who is tough to transition roles, as they try to create a new winning pair of competitive skaters. Like most of these films, it’s done in a totally implausible way, but presented with a fun chain of events. Found it in the bargain bin and figured ‘Why not??’. No regret, and easy to recommend.

A good romantic comedy
||Posted .I saw this movie many years ago. I really thought that it was a good movie. Hadn't seen it in a very long time, just doesn't air like it did back in the day. Just happened across it while searching through the expansive movies list on this site.

One of my wife’s favorites
||Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.I bought this for my wife because she loves this movie. She is a sucker for romance and the love story that builds between these two opposite people is one of her favorites. Her favorite line, “Toe pick!”
