One-on-One Character Story
|Posted .I knew of the author David Foster Wallace but, had not read any of his books. Curious about this movie, due to the fact that the reporters story was not printed at the time of creation. And the fact the author had committed suicide. Also that Jessie Eisenberg played the reporter. Based on the original reporter tape recordings of interviews with the author.

Quiet but powerful
|Posted .This film is slow and quiet, compared to most films nowadays, but is very powerful and memorable. Jason Segal is excellent as David Foster Wallace, and Jesse Eisenberg is a great intellectual foil. Look for Segal to get some awards attention later this year.

Good film -- well acted and intriguing!
|Posted .It probably wouldn't be for everyone. There's little actual plot -- it's basically an extended conversation/interview that takes place throughtout the length of the film -- but it's very well done. If you have any interest in the author it's a no-brainer.

Wonderful film, light on bonus content
|Posted .This is a wonderfully acted movie. As someone who generally doesn't care for Jesse Eisenberg, and who questioned Jason Segel's dramatic chops, I was really blown away. There aren't many bonus features on the blu ray, but the commentary is pretty great.

A Quick 2¢
|Posted .Very well acted movie that felt very real. May only be worth a rental however. I don't see myself revisiting it anytime soon.

Fantastic film
|Posted .It is easy to write off a film starring the guy from HIMYM as a stupid comedy, but this is not that at all. Segel puts on an Oscar worthy performance as Davod Foster Wallace
