I was exposed to Johnny Cash's music way back when I was a young child. I remember asking my mother about his clothing choices and she really didn't know much about it. It wouldn't be until years later that I would learn he would wear black until there was no more suffering in the world. At this point, I really knew that he was someone who was to be admired for more than just his amazing music. As for this set, It is surprisingly comprehensive. The only fault I saw with it was that I would have liked to have seen some of his later work. Johnny Cash was a national treasure and a pioneer in music. The pressing of the vinyl and quality of the recordings on this record are fantastic. I really see it as a important part of any music fan's collection.
