An essential addition to a Wes Anderson collection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For Wes Anderson fans, a Blu Ray pressing of this latest film is essential. Wes Anderson films are an acquired taste, however, his whimsical stories and casting make for the closest thing to viewing Chistmas movies year after year.

This Is From Ennui
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a Wes Anderson fan and am used to his eclectic film style. Those who aren't are best advised to try some of his earlier films first. This one is a tough one to love although the intentions were good. It is a tongue in cheek celebration of the impact a recently deceased print mag editor had on his colleagues in a three part story line. Parts are rather humorous others miss the mark but all are well acted by some of the more talented actors in Hollywood today. PQ was very good .While the screen formats varied considerably due to the multiple mediums employed to tell each story. Audio was mostly dialogue driven and clear.

Must for Wes Anderson fans. Well done.
