The Mask of Zorro [Deluxe Edition] [DVD] [1998]

This looked fantastic! Great picture quality, and the detail looked awesome as well. Forgot how good this movie was, and seeing it now on 4K was like watching it for the first time. Sound was on point also.

I like the movie, Zorro got even with the person who got his house burn down took his daughter and the army killed his wife.

I had to have this oldie movie I grew up with Zorro on TV. I know I will watch it yearly. Love it !!

My favorite Zorro movie. 4K transfer is gorgeous. A shame they couldn’t continue the magic…

This is one of my favorite movies, not only because of the re-watch value, but simply because it's SO MUCH FUN! Almost every scene has you smiling, but there is some great drama that is organically incorporated into the narrative as well. Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas, and Catherine Zeta-Jones all have terrific chemistry together and each of them brings something to the table. There's lots of swashbuckling action, Raiders of the Lost Ark-style chases, and the classic Bond tropes (amazing stunts, fights, a beautiful girl, an EVIL villain with an over-the-top plan, etc.). Recommend this to anyone, and the 4K/Bluray remasters make the experience that much better.

Antonio Bandares was born to play this role and does it with such joy that he makes this movie so much fun to watch. This is a throwback to the old swashbuckling films of old, and it was a movie that finally had good sword play. There’s great chemistry with the cast and next to Tyrone Powers’ Mark of Zorro it’s the best Zorro in my opinion. Lots to enjoy here. The picture is a big upgrade from my old DVD and added extras on a 4K was a great and rare touch.

Sony doesn’t disappoint in their restorations, this is fantastic! This is one of my favorites of all time and I’ve forgotten how beautiful this movie was, so great! It has Dolby Atmos, no Dolby Vision, but I’m proud to say it doesn’t need it, so good. Definitely worth the pickup!

Sony always knocks its out of the park with their 4K transfers, and this one is no different. Looks and sounds spectacular!
