About This Item

After 2017's 10 year anniversary tour of Below The Heavens and a b-sides/rarities in In The Beginning many wondered whether or not Blu & Exile would ever reunite for a proper new or if that year was as much a curtain call as it was a celebration. Putting those questions to rest, Dirty Science Records is proud to announce the True & Livin EP - as Blu & Exile's undeniable chemistry is yet again put on display. InchTrue and Livin feels like a spiritual call to all that have honor and truth in their being. It sees how present day and beyond is always trying to calculate or monetize what comes from God or what comes from an artist's spirit, but it also recognizes the truth that is inside of Blu and Exile's music and brags about it, even in a humble way somehow. This might be the first hip hop braggadocio song that invites us all to feel the same about themselves as long as they connect to the spirit and truth that is inside this song and inside us all.Inch Exile says about the EP's title track. Positivity and strength remain a theme on this EP, in Spread Sunshine and the stand out posse cut featuring most of the Dirty Science crew in Choosey, Johaz, Cashus King, Aloe Blacc, Fashawn & Blame One on Power To The People. Blu adds, InchPower To The PeopleInch is a call to the people, a call for the people to unite. Unification is power, power in numbers.Inch Catch Blu & Exile and more Dirty Science artists on tour now May 2 in Seattle @ The Crocodile May 10 in Las Vegas @ Ninja Karaoke May 11 in Berkeley @ Cornerstone May 14 in Portland @ Mississippi Studios May 15 in Costa Mesa @ The Wayfarer May 18 in Chicago @ Sub T May 19 in Detroit @ Deluxx Fluxx May 28 in Atlanta @ 529 May 29 in New Orleans @ The Den May 31 in Fort Worth @ Shipping & Receiving TBA - Los Angeles TBA - San Diego TBA - New York Album Tracks 1. David Bowie - Young Americans - VINYL LP
    5.0(5)

Limited vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition. Young Americans is the ninth studio album by rock icon David Bowie, released on 7 March 1975 by RCA Records. The album marked a departure from the glam rock style of Bowie's previous albums, instead showcasing his mid-1970s interest in African-American soul and R&B music. Initial recording sessions for Young Americans took place in Philadelphia with producer Tony Visconti and a variety of musicians, including guitarist Carlos Alomar, to become one of Bowie's most frequent collaborators, and singer Luther Vandross. Bowie drew influence from the sound of Inchlocal dance hallsInch, which were blaring with Inchrich strings, sliding hi-hat whispers, and swanky R&B rhythms of Philadelphia Soul.Inch Later sessions took place in New York, and included contributions from John Lennon. Bowie would call the album's sound Inchplastic soulInch, describing it as Inchthe squashed remains of ethnic music as it survives in the age of muzak rock, written and sung by a white limeyInch. Album Tracks 1. Young Americans (2016 Remastered Version) 2. Win (2016 Remastered Version) 3. Fascination (2016 Remastered Version) 4. Right (2016 Remastered Version) 1. Somebody Up There Likes Me (2016 Remastered Version) 2. Across the Universe (2016 Remastered Version) 3. Can You Hear Me (2016 Remastered Version) 4. Fame (2016 Remastered Version)

Black Sabbath - Vol. 4 - VINYL LP
    5.0(2)

Limited 180 gram vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition. Vol. 4 is the fourth studio album by Black Sabbath, released in September 1972. It was the first album by Black Sabbath not produced by Rodger Bain; guitarist Tony Iommi assumed production duties. Patrick Meehan, the band's then-manager, was listed as co-producer, though his actual involvement in the album's production was minimal at best. Rock critic Lester Bangs, who had derided the band's first two albums, applauded Vol. 4, writing in Creem, InchWe have seen the Stooges take on the night ferociously and go tumbling into the maw, and Alice Cooper is currently exploiting it for all it's worth, turning it into a circus. But there is only one band that has dealt with it honestly on terms meaningful to vast portions of the audience, not only grappling with it in a mythic structure that's both personal and powerful but actually managing to prosper as well. And that band is Black Sabbath.InchBlack Sabbath was formed in Birmingham in 1968 by guitarist and main songwriter Tony Iommi, bassist and main lyricist Geezer Butler, singer Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward. Black Sabbath is often cited as pioneers of heavy metal music. The band helped define the genre with a clutch of groundbreaking albums in the '70s. They have sold over 70 million records worldwide. Black Sabbath were inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. Album Tracks 1. Wheels of Confusion/The Straightener 8 02 2. Tomorrow's Dream 3 12 3.
