[Employee of bestbuy] I’ve had my Unistellar Equinox 2 for a little while now, and it’s genuinely one of the most impressive pieces of tech I’ve ever owned. The setup was fast and intuitive — within minutes I was scanning the night sky and capturing crystal-clear views of galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters that I never thought I’d be able to see from my own backyard in Texas. The app connection is smooth and user-friendly, and I love how it automatically identifies and tracks celestial objects for me. The live-stacking feature is magic — watching faint smudges turn into vivid, detailed cosmic structures in real time never gets old. Even under light-polluted skies, it still delivers astonishing results. Build quality is top-tier: solid, compact, and portable enough to bring along for weekend trips. The community and software updates also add a lot of value — you can tell Unistellar really cares about improving the experience for its users. If you’ve ever dreamed of getting into astrophotography or just want a telescope that blends serious tech with true ease of use, the Equinox 2 is perfect. It’s not just a telescope — it’s a personal observatory that makes you feel connected to the universe in a way that’s hard to describe.

This is the telescope to beat. If you can afford it.
