We bought one of these at Christmas earlier this year. What an amazing telescope this is! Sometimes you buy things and you don't use them, but not this scope. Everyone loves it from young to old, and many who have other models and try ours say they want to trade. The eyepiece is 100000% worth it, don't skip it. There is something magical about looking into the scope itself and seeing with your own eye celestial bodies. This scope is easy to use, easy to set up, and works well in ridiculous situations, like in our small yard close to a street light!! It is made to be useful in a variety of conditions and it's easy. The makers have created a telescope that makes the night sky and all its wonders accessible to everyone. Highly recommend to all geeks and soon to be geeks. :)
