We couldn't wait to see the movie which we loved! it was a great price and arrived right on time if not sooner than we expected.
Based on this experience I will be back to purchase more DVD's from Best Buy as they are hard to find anywhere else.

Great movie for fans of the tv show or a newcomer!
Mostly all said up above. Great price. Blu ray and digital version. I was a big fan of the tv show and loved the characters and their stories and relationships with one another. I got several roommates hooked with my dvd collection. Then it was cancelled without a lot of resolution. Then I find out it would be a big screen movie and dvd release and went and saw it asap. I went with a friend who had never seen the tv show and we both loved it. It was even more exciting for me because it was like a reunion with a lot of resolution. I wish they could do it with less swearing etc but I'm just glad to have it. The extras are great especially with the blu ray but I just love it so much I'm left wanting even more. And I love Kristen Bell as an actress so I was glad to see a movie with her in it.
The first of it's kind, kickstarted funded by the fans for the fans. Veronica Mars was a successful show during the mid-2000's that had it's run cut short when the CW-Network canceled the show after it's third season. Fans were left with a lot of questions and not enough answers but Veronica Mars fans never gave up and because of it, creator Rob Thomas was able to come up with the idea of having the fans fund the film and what a film it turned out to be. From beginning to end, you find yourself on the edge of your seat and dying from the stitch in your side. I recommend this to anyone who used to watch the show and anyone just interested in a good mystery.
I love the series, but was bummed that it got cancelled and ended on a cliffhanger. For years it looked like we would be left in the lurch and never even know what happened to these amazing characters. However, thanks to the fans and kickstarter, we got a movie. Not only did we get a movie, we got a great one. The only negative I can say about the Blu-ray is that there aren't enough extras for my tastes. There's a nice 50 minute doc about the fans, but I would've liked a little more stuff about the story and the actors would've been nice, so would a commentary with Rob and Kristen. Those are minor nitpicks, though.
If you are like me and didn't find out about this show until it was already canceled you owe it to yourself to binge watch every season and the movie. I never thought the UPN could have a quality show on its network so I never bothered watching this show when it aired. But that was a mistake. This was a great show with snappy dialogue and story. Now as a fan of the show you might think my review of the movie is bias but my wife has only watched a few of the episodes and she did enjoy the movie. You don’t need to watch every episode before watching the movie but it’s worth it.

The conclusion that the series deserved.
I think this movie essentially wrapped up the TV series in a good way. It didn't feel like a huge cinematic masterpiece; it was more like an extremely extended episode, but awesome nonetheless. Just beware that there's a few things throughout the movie that they could never get away with on broadcast television. Even though this film came out about 10 years after the show, most of the main cast doesn't seem to have aged that much...
Note: as for my rating on the DVD Extras, it's just a generic rating. I haven't actually viewed them yet.
It's like the show has never left. Rob Thomas has brought the aspect of the tv show to the big screen thanks to kickstarter campagian that was run to make this movie for the fans of the show. The fans wanted this movie made it raised 1 million dollars on kickstarter in 4 hours and 24 minutes which set a record on kickstarter. All the quirkiness and attitude that we loved in the show was here in the movie. So if you were a fan of the show and did not get a chance to see the movie. I recommend that you do. You will not be disappointed.
Being a huge fan of the Veronica Mars tv show, I was so excited to see that a movie was being made. This movie is perfect for fans of the show or even new fans who want to see what Veronica was all about. The movie was great really paying tribute to the show, and the extra features showed how much seeing a movie made meant not just to the fans but cast and crew as well. If you love Veronica Mars, then this DVD is for you.
