Battery life is excellent particularly if you use G-Helper to limit TDP to 30W or less and turn off 4070. With that setting it reaches 15hrs of light web browsing and office work with no noticeable slow down. If that setting is used, the fans never turn on and it feels room temp. In balanced mode (45W) the fans come on quietly periodically. Much quieter than a dell xps 17 inch. The xps would run fans constantly and much louder. The zenbook s16 runs at 17W but does so hotter due to the thinner chassis. The P16 has better heat dissipation even when the fans are off. So it runs cool than the S16 if you set the TDP to match the S16 15-30W. With the stock silent mode in myasus battery life is more like 8hrs because myasus doesn't lower the TDP very much. It would be nice if there was a version without dedicated graphics and 64gb of memory but it is what it is I guess. 64gb is impossible to find in the HX 300 series and this model is the only choice. The screen would be better if it was 500+ nits. Disappointing it doesn't get brighter then again it is oled and that's a giant power drain vs mini-led or IPS. The screen looks fine just wish there was ideally a mini-led option or at least this oled panel could get brighter for the times when that's needed. Trackpad is better than the dell xps 9720. Speakers are very good. I'd recommend it overall.

This computer is a dream for a creative professional like me. I am not interested in using a MAC and this ASUS ProArt P16 puts even the best of Apple laptops to the test. While the higher end Macs may slightly edge it out in benchmarks? The ProArt P16 is able to play triple A game titles when you are taking a break from working on your current project. In addition, people complain about its 60HZ OLED display (60HZ is all you need for creative work and the OLED is stunning) but add an extra monitor and you can play Tombraider at 100+ fps. The fact it is solidly built with mil grade materials and aesthetically minimalist makes this my favorite laptop I have ever owned. I have worked with some of the governments best tech so it is hard to impress me. This impresses me beyond measure. Tip if the laptop is getting hot because you are putting it through its paces? Add a cooling pad to your setup or just make sure the laptop is off the surface of your desk so it can breathe. It helps a ton.

Well I suspect there is some stability issues with these new Ryzen AI chips or this motherboard, that haven't fully been worked out yet. I get a number of kernel power failure reboots after fully updating all software, and given that sometimes will happen when doing nothing, that is a problem. I have logged a handful of hours on Diablo 4 without it rebooting and it runs great when it runs. I also designed another enclosure in Fusion 360 and the specs of this laptop and the build are awesome--I just hope they address the stability issues. Given the price tag -- it should have never unexpectedly rebooted, yet alone 4 times today.

How I would build it! I returned 3 Really nice Laptops in the Past 4 months. This one Released on the Last day of my Return window of my HP Spector 360. The ProArt P16 was exactly what I was hoping for. And still even better than what could be expected. 100% Satisfied, This destroys the MacBook Pro with Photoshop, Illustrator & Solidworks. I design Vehicle Wraps as my profession and many renderings are over 1 Gig. This LapTop speeds right through processes and saving file times 2x the speed of a Mac. Best BEST Laptop out the Box you could want. One not so critical option I would consider would be to make the screen lay Flat or 2in1 convertible for 6 Stars. But As-Is, It already has an adequate viewing angle and a versatile Track pad that doubles as drawing pad for a stylus, So definitely Not a negative in any measure. I'll be getting another ProArt P16 for my son who attends Georgia Tech, for Industrial Design & Engineering, for his class projects.

Bought it for some freelance web development purpose. And for web browsing and watching videos. Major complaint is that the Asus software updates seems to be not tested properly. Recently got an update that resulted in blue screen of death. Had to do a full reset, luckily not much data to loose as its new. It would've cost someone major time and money loss if it had happened sometime down the line. Amazing screen - works great for all my purposes. Displays more content on split screen and 4k is useful for multiple readable lines of code. 4k videos are just so amazing esp. HDR content are stunning. Yes it's 60 hz but I don't play games, still smooth enough for reading text and videos. Very comfortable keyboard, nice palm rejection, would've loved haptic, but still a very nice feel to touch trackpad. The hardware configuration as many reviewer would rave, is one of the best in the market, and also one of the few line ups that offers 64 GB of memory. Light weight for a 16 inch, nothing compares to its lightness, certainly scores positive against the Mac. Battery life is adequate on balanced mode. charges really fast, close to 80% in less than an hour. build quality is great as far as finish is concerned, despite babying it through the new laptop phase, I already have small some scratches by placing my other laptop Lenovo thinkpad on top, which has a plastic body. So it is prone to scratches. Is very quiet, almost no sound for light tasks. I've used co pilot before, is a very handy tool for coding. I am excited that the laptop comes with it. I would like Asus to stabilize their updates, and that they thoroughly test their releases. Esp, uefi and bitlocker. Before, I would recommend this laptop for anyone.
