For context, I haven't had a laptop in a really long time. I have a gaming PC at home that I love, even so I missed having something portable with less distractions. I found that when I was on my PC I would game instead of write or draw so that's why I wanted a MacBook in the first place! As a creative notebook and not for gaming or harsh art programs. With that said, I can't judge how well it runs bigger and heavier programs! The overall feel of this MacBook is so just so sleek. The last time I had a MacBook was in 2010 when they were all white and had acrylic shells. So the sleekness of the laptop is definitely a nice upgrade and fits well in any of my laptop bags. The speed and efficiency of this laptop is also amazing. I often use the Stage Manager setting when flipping through references, writing, and art. I wish my PC had something like this or I really need to find that setting! The screen is amazing! I know this because a friend of mine has the MacBook Air 2024 and when side by side she and I both noticed the notable screen quality difference. It's clearer, brighter {if full brightness is on} and just higher graphics. I didn't think it'd be such a big difference so that was definitely a shock! Color! As a pink enthusiast I was nervous it wouldn't be pink enough but it's beautiful! For all the pink girlies out there, this is one not to miss! It is definitely an eye catcher when I'm out in a cafe or bookstore! I even added a glitter hard case to it make it shine and I'm literally obsessed! Honorable mention to Citrus though because I almost got my roommate to buy one just cause she likes the color! My overall review: Great machine that's sleek, fast, and cute! If you want a creative notebook or relatively strong device for everyday computer usage, I think this is for you. Wish I could test it out for gaming but I don't want to spend the time scrubbing the anti-cheat out of my laptop!
