I recently bought the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro chip, and honestly it’s been a great upgrade for me. I’m still learning my way around computers, but this laptop makes everything feel smooth and easy. It’s really fast, doesn’t lag, and handles everything I need for school like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint without any issues. The battery life is solid and it charges pretty quickly. I also like how clear and sharp the screen looks, especially when I’m working on assignments or watching videos. It feels like a high-quality machine overall. If you’re a student or someone getting back into using computers like me, I definitely recommend it. It’s powerful but still easy to use once you get the hang of it.

I was coming from an M1 Pro MacBook Pro, which was amazing, but the M5 Pro MacBook Pro is unreal! I have even scratched the surface yet with what I can do.

This 14-inch MacBook Pro has been a huge upgrade from the 13-inch MacBook Air I traded in. The extra power is noticeable right away, especially when multitasking and handling more demanding work. Everything feels faster, smoother, and more capable overall. The display is excellent, the battery life has been solid, and the Space Black finish looks sleek and premium. With 24GB of memory and a 1TB SSD, it feels like a big step up and a much more future-proof machine. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Overall, it's a great MacBook Pro except for one flaw. Great display with Promotion, decent selection of ports, and has active fan cooling for intensive tasks. Sadly if you're a wired headphone user that uses the 3.5mm port, there's a major issue if you use them while having the MagSafe charger plugged in, anytime you're scrolling through webpages or doing any activity on it, seems to make some kind of feedback noise through the wired headphones. The M5 MacBook Air is the better choice if you use 3.5mm wired headphones while have the MagSafe charger plugged in without hearing any feedback noise from doing any activity on it.

I can go 3 days of no charge. Way better than my old laptop. I love how fast and easy it is to carry. I close my laptop and I love how I can pick up where I left off.

The computer itself is really nice and runs very fast, but the customer service at Best Buy really made me sad. The cashier was super rude when I was trading in my computer and said this is worth nothing when I'd kept it in pretty good condition, nothing cracked or missing just minor scratches. I didn't want to be confrontational so I just accepted it and paid full price for the laptop itself. She then slammed the Macbook box at me across the counter, and dented the corner. I'm a bit upset at how I was treated, but the product itself is good. I will probably go through Apple itself next time, though.
