2 Fast 2 Furious (Digital) [Blu-ray]

A man wrongly imprisoned for murder breaks out of jail. He wants to clear his name, but with the police pursuing him, he's forced to take a beautiful young woman, driving a fast sports car, hostage and slip into a cross-border sports car race to try to make it to Mexico before the police get him.

The film that inspired the wildly successful contemporary franchise of the same name, InchThe Fast and the FuriousInch is every bit as fast-paced and pulse-pounding as it's modern iteration. Produced by the legendary Roger Corman, this action-packed thrill ride stars John Ireland (InchSpartacusInch) as a man wrongly imprisoned for murder who breaks out of jail, finds a fast sports car, picks up a beautiful woman (Dorothy Malone, who won an Oscar for her unforgettable performance in Douglas Sirk's timeless InchWritten on the WindInch), and heads for the Mexican border, the cops hot on his tail.
