I am exceptionally pleased with the service I received in the store when purchasing this product. I am a senior citizen and am somewhat still tech challenged and the representative that assisted me with the purchase was professional and very helpful. He did not try and sell me something that was above my need and thoroughly explained which router would work the best for me. Also the tech that came and connected everything for me was also exceptionally professional and helpful. She thoroughly explained everything to me and even got me connected with my cox internet.

I usually think about whether or not I want to spend the money on the protection or not and is it worth it. Then I ran into an issue and found out I didn't get it. For anything that is expensive or I don't feel like dealing with added hassle I go ahead and get the geek squad protection so I can just go in and get it handled no problem without having to deal with company over phone.

I was skeptical when I bought my first Best Buy protection plan two years ago. I brought back my router after 20 months, they replaced my router with a newer model - no questions asked. Best Buy even prorated the 4 months of protection that I didn’t use (a small refund). So for my replacement router, I bought the protection plan again.

I don't go home without it. Other retailers will push their protection plans on you and it's always smoke and mirrors. Geek Squad? Not at all. It's there when you need it and I have needed it multiple times. I love not having to deal with a manufacture and their "1 Year LIMITED warranty". I let Geek Squad handle all that for me.

The techs at Best Buy are very helpful and tried their very best to fix my computer without having to reload Windows. They did not succeed but they sure gave it a good try. I was very impressed as they explained things to me as I am 74 and need simple good explanations, which they did. I did purchase the extended service but have not used it yet.

I've used BestBuy's product replacement plans in the past. They are hold true to replacing your products when they break even when past the manufactures warranty. I tend to purchase the replacement plan on anything that I intend my children to be touching. Kids will be kids and often can be rough on electronics.

I will always renew this service. Whenever I have a problem with my computer, I call and the squad takes care of it. I'm sure going online would also work. I have also taken my computer in for service. The techs are knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this service to anyone who owns a computer!!

I have seen that in other cases the device which is the demark point between my internal network and the outside world can suffer from damage due to conditions I have no control over. In most cases, I do not use a product replacement policy but in this case, I consider it very cheap insurance.

My monitor started pixelating badly in the middle of a day dedicated to online work. I had a half hour in between functions, ran to Best Buy where the Geek Squad diagnosed it, got me a refund and sent me home in time for my next online event. Thank you!!

I became a big fan of Dee warranties like this when my computer died 6 months into a 3 month warranty period. they completely replaced it with a new version and I was very happy... so far we haven't needed to use this one but you never know

You may not need it for the first year but as soon as that second year rolls in some disaster happens but luckily you had the Geek Squad to protect your expensive purchase at little or no cost plus excellent service.

For $10 for 2 years of full replacement coverages you just can't beat it! Having the peace of mind that if it breaks or gets fried in a power surge or dropped drink on it you get a free replacement! Sign me up!! Lol

Have not needed this yet .. but know that external USB devices have a tendency to be abused even if unintentially. This gives me peace of mind that if something comes up I can swap it for a new one.

I bought this when I bought my Netgear AC-1600 Router. Since Routers are pricey, I wanted to have this additional protection just in case I needed it. The price was not a deal breaker, very affordable.

I often purchase these plans on my electronics and appliances. Had to use it only once - for a DVD player a few years ago. The money saved from that replacement alone paid for the other protection plans!

No one gives you no bs protection for such a long time and for so little. Get it everytime they offer this to you. All my best buy purchased are insured and i didnt have to break the bank to get it

Am so happy with the replacement plan one of my modems gave up on and took it back and I was able to upgrade to a newer one and different brand with out no problem I just paid the difference

I have more than gotten my money out of this plan during the first time period and they have cleaned up my computer several times after it became infected. I was more than glad to renew the service.

I purchased the replacement service just in case the router will ever give out on me. You never know when it will stop working and for $10 I get it for 2 years it does not sound bad at all.
